That said, the engine has never seen boost due to the lack of PROPER tuning options available for the E99 ECU. We have put several thousand miles on the vehicle driving at part throttle only ensuring our twin turbo system does not have any issues regarding fitment or heat. Please read that again so we are clear. . This vehicle IS currently equipped with our custom twin turbo system. That said, the engine has never seen boost due to the lack of PROPER tuning options available for the E99 ECU. We have put several thousand miles on the vehicle driving at part throttle only ensuring our twin turbo system does not have any issues regarding fitment or heat.
We are in search of a buyer who would be interested in working with Vengeance Racing (www.VengeanceRacing.net) once a more complete/proper tuning solution is readily available that would allow us to boost this combination to four digit power levels like it is capable of producing. Vengeance Racing will offer a significantly reduced labor rate as well as discounted pricing on parts in exchange for future R&D as more products become available.
As an example, we currently have available: Complete heads/cam package Forged pistons & Connecting Rods Stage II DCT Clutch Specifications on our Twin Turbo System are as follows:
Base kit includes: -Raw Stainless hot-side tubes, .120 wall extra thick from OEM manifolds to Turbo V-band inlets. Includes bungs for Primary O2 Sensors and Wastegate Flanges -Custom made heat blankets to cover the tubes above for heat management. -Hardware to bolt hot-side tubes to OEM manifolds and V-band clamps to mount turbos to Hot-side tubes. (re-uses OEM manifold gaskets) -Stainless Exhaust, 5-piece .065 wall 3" tubing from Turbo outlets exiting in tips. Tips will use polished tubing with outer Carbon Fiber shell. Exhaust will use both OEM hangers on each side. Includes bungs for rear O2 sensors as well as additional for Wideband. Ports for wastegate recirculation. -(6) 3" V-band clamps to install exhaust -(2) Wastegate recirculation tubes in stainless steel -(2) band clamps to seal wastegate recric tubes into exhaust (2) 3" Polished Aluminum intake tubes from compressor inlets to filters. (2) couplers to attach intake tubes to compressor inlets (2) Polished Aluminum air filter tubes to bolt to OEM flange location of fender coves to direct air to filters (2) custom Air Filters from S&B filters w/ VR Logo (1) Bracket to bolt GM Intercooler pump to existing locations on vehicle in DS fender (1) set of nuts/bolts to secure bracket above to car and pump to bracket. (1) Air to Water Intercooler unit from Bell intercoolers (1) Heat exchanger to mount in OEM location and utilize OEM cooling fan from Bell Intercoolers (1) Expansion tank for A2W system mounting in rear truck area (2) Straight Couplers to attach A2W intercooler to turbocharger compressor outlets. (4) T-bolt clamps to secure couplers above (1) 4" to 3.875" coupler to attach A2W intercooler outlet to Throttle Body (2) T-bolt clamps to secure the coupler above. (1) boost log to attach inline for all boost/vacuum reference needs. (1) section of 3/8" hose to locate boost log where you desire in engine bay for clean install. -Clamps to secure the above hose connections (1) section of 1/4" Vacuum hose for running all boost/vacuum references -Variety of 1/8" NPT to 1/4" Barb fittings for boost log and all reference locations including plugs for unused ports and Tees -Spring clamps for all hose connections above (1) section of 3/8" Vacuum hose for OEM PCV ports to barbed fitting on each Turbocharger intake tube to retain suction -Clamps for the above connections (1) section of -12an push-on hose for all Water connections in the A2W system. Includes Y fittings to evenly distribute cooled water to and from each core, all fittings and clamps.
Components: -(2) Turbosmart Hypergate-Lite 45 wastegates + (1) Turbosmart Race-Port BOV combination -(2) Comp Air-cooled Turbochargers w/ Stainless Steel V-band inlet turbine housings, Polished Compressor housings. No lines required to run to turbochargers. Require adding their supplied grease every 3k miles via the easy to access zerc fittings in the CHRAs with their patented grease. We can use whatever wheel sizes you choose from 6262 (on your car) up to 6871s (what were on my ZL1) for no change in price
