Vehicle description
This 2020 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG was originally delivered to Mercedes-Benz of South Bay in Torrance, California. The truck is finished in Designo Graphite Metallic over a Designo black Nappa leather interior, and power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 linked with a nine-speed AMG Speedshift TCT transmission, dual-range all-wheel-drive system, and three locking differentials. Equipment includes comfort seats, the AMG Night Package, Burmester sound system, COMAND infotainment, forged 22″ wheels, and more. This G63 now shows 5k miles with factory literature, the window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The current generation G-Class is the first full redesign of the model since its initial launch and shares only the door handles, spare tire cover, and headlight washer nozzles with its immediate predecessor. This example is finished in Designo Graphite Metallic and is equipped with the AMG Night Package, which includes a black brush guard, gunmetal grille, tinted exterior lights, and Obsidian Black mirrors, bumper trim, and spare tire carrier trim.
Factory forged 22″ wheels are finished in black with polished lips and wear Pirelli PZero tires measuring 295/40. Braking is handled by cross-drilled and vented rotors with optional red-finished calipers, and AMG models are equipped with Ride Control suspension and Dynamic Select driving modes.
The cabin is upholstered in black Nappa Designo leather (501) with piano black trim and is equipped with the comfort seat package, which included air-cushioned seating surfaces as well as seat heating and cooling. Other amenities include a Burmester sound system with a 12.3″ infotainment display, multi-color ambient lighting, a heated rear seat, three-zone automatic climate control, Distronic automatic distance control, blind spot assist, lane keeping assist, and more detailed on the window sticker.
A flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel fronts a 12.3″ digital instrument cluster that includes a centrally-located tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline and nested speedometer, which is flanked by configurable zones for navigation and other functions. Just under 5k miles are shown on the digital odometer.
The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 sends power to all four wheels via a nine-speed AMG Speedshift TCT transmission, dual-range transfer case, and sequential lockable differentials front, center, and rear. Factory-rated output is 577 horsepower with 627 lb-ft of torque, and the truck is equipped with Camtronic cylinder deactivation.
The modern G63 features independent front suspension rather than the live front axle present on earlier models. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
The window sticker shows the original colors and equipment as well as the $165,815 retail price.
The April 2020 Carfax report lists no accidents or issues and displays history in California. The owner is a collector and holds a dealers license, so CA tax will have to be collected for CA buyer. Title is in hand and there are no loans/liens.
This is a wonderful way to step into a G63 for a heavy discount. Make no mistake, despite dealers advertising at MSRP, there are none selling for that. Legally Mercedes can not advertise over sticker. Manheim (wholesale) shows trucks with these miles selling at our asking price. This is wholesale pricing for a stunning near perfect example. Why pay $20 - $30k more?
My standard disclaimer/mantra for any car regardless of service or price: The car is sold with no sellers warranty, but will have any remaining factory warranty transferred by default. If you would like to have an Ebay 3rd party mechanic service check out the car I MORE than welcome it. Please have the car checked out before bidding and not after, if you intend to use that service. And please, if you would like to utilize this service, contact me with more than a couple days left in the auction so we can arrange schedules. Please check your local laws and registration procedures before buying. Buying over the internet can be scary sometimes! I get it, because I am an enthusiast too! For that very reason, I am more than happy to answer every and any question you may so you know 100% what you are buying. But, please ask any and all questions ahead of purchase! All sales are final, you are buying as-is, the sky is blue, etc, etc. Sorry to have to give the boring speech.
Please feel free to ask any and all questions!
