Vehicle description

I love this truck. I love it so much. . but my wife and I are moving our family overseas, and it can"t come with me. I took ownership at the end of May and have put barely any miles on it - under 1,900 miles in total. The condition is immaculate. I do not smoke and it has no scratches, dents, dings or otherwise.
When I bought it, I had plans of overland trips to the coast and mountains, and I have been slowly building it out with these in mind. All work has been done by a top tier local shop - Retro Designs - here in NC. Please keep reading to see all the parts and upgrades. I do still have the original parts that were replaced and the original tires. I will included them for the new owner if desired.
As I understand it, the old-school badged Heritage Edition is the last of the Land Cruisers Toyota will produce I also have been told that dealers no longer have any meaningful inventory. For someone who loves Land Cruisers, this is a pretty special opportunity. For someone who has aspirations, like I did, of amazing family trips, this is arguably as good as a vehicle gets.
A brief write up of the upgrades I have made: Firstly, I believe these trucks look and perform much better with an upgraded suspension. I also believe the Old Man Emu BP-51 to be the best lift for the money. I paired this with Slee Upper Control Arms, Spydertrax wheel spacers, and Trail Tailor KDSS brackets to get a best practice ride and setup to accommodate the larger BFG KO2 tires. Personally, I love the forged bronze BBS Toyota rims and I kept them on the vehicle. I wanted to be able to air down and air up the tires in the field and mounted an ARB under-hood dual compressor on a Slee mount. This compressor is able to be controlled on the Switch Pro in the sunglass holder drop down or at the compressor itself. I replaced the rear reflectors with Rigid diffused lights that are also controllable through the Switch Pro and tied into the reverse light trigger. The difference made at night when reversing is amazing! I added Slee LX570 Rock Sliders. They double as a nice step, and with the addition of Rigid rock lights (x6), the total package is pretty sexy. These lights are also controllable at the switch pro, and they come on when the vehicle is unlocked. In my mind, they create an amazing ambient evening light source while camping. The tailgate has a National Luna light mounted so that when open a downlight is provided for the tailgate. This is selectable in either white or red to preserve night vision. Notice in the photos that I keep ARB air tools in the tailgate storage compartment.
I have been using for nearly two decades and have 100% positive feedback. I ask that you only pursue this vehicle if you have the intention of honoring a commitment to purchase.
The buyer will be responsible for selecting a transport or picking up the vehicle. In either case, I will do my part to ensure everything goes smoothly and promptly. Should a transport be used, I will ensure ample photos are taken during loading.
The vehicle itself MSRP"d at $89,565 and with all the extra bits the dealer included, the final list price was $91,428 (a picture of the window sticker is attached). The following is a list and the prices I have paid for all the parts and work. I have receipts for everything should that be of interest: OME BP-51 Lift – Currently Mounted 2722 Rear Coils. I also have stiffer 2723s - $2,885 & $232 for extra coils BFG KO2 305/65/18 (x4) (original mounted in the spare location, but the larger KO2 will fit) - $1300 Slee LX570 Sliders w/ LC200 Hardware Kit - $1,235.00 Slee UCAs - $730 Trail Tailor KDSS Relocation Brackets - $200 Rigid Rock Lights - $384 Rigid Diffused D-Series Rear Lights w/ Retro Design Custom Brackets - $272 (lights only) Switch Pro 9100 w/ Retro Designs Custom Mount - $588 ARB Dual Compressor w/ Manifold and Air Kit – Slee Mount - $678 Spidertrax Wheel Spacers - $269 Blue Ridge Outfitters Attic - $100 The fender well on the right side and/or the mud guard needs to be adjusted further as there is a slight rub on full turn going over the bump entering my driveway. The left seems to have been adequately tweaked already. In speaking with the shop, this is simple. RETRO DESIGN"S INVOICES – $3,279.78 & $3,625.00 GRAND TOTAL – $15,777.78
Please note, I am also shopping this vehicle out locally and through the shop that did the work. Should I find a local buyer at a favorable price, I may go that route.
I am also running short errands and the mileage is subject to increase accordingly. Thank you.
