Vehicle description
Original owner. Non smoking. No pets.Such an outstanding automobile. Only reason I"m selling - and it is reluctantly - is that we have six vehicles. The most recent is a Shelby F150 that more or less does for us what the Volvo does. Before I get to the options: This will tow 5000 lbs. The engine is a beast - 316 horsepower from a turbocharged AND supercharged inline 4. I"m a car guy through and through (GT500, ZR1, ZL1,) and the Volvo has never failed to impress me for its quality of build and engineering. My adult daughter bought one almost identical (but not loaded,) and after one drive I started looking for my own. It"s THAT impressive. Almost all the miles are road miles, trips between Las Vegas, California and Washington State (home.) Three oil changes already, which shows how I care for my vehicles. Two flaws: The rear center headrest has indents from a car seat, and the right front wheel has scrapes about three inches long from my wife not seeing a curb. The wheel is fine; I"m just a stickler about cosmetics. You can see from the window sticker, this is a fully optioned car that retailed for $69,185.The Bowers and Wilkins stereo is the best I"ve ever experienced, bar none, and well worth the $3200 upgrade. The air suspension upgrade? No sway, no wobble . . it makes trailering a breeze. Not shown on the window sticker is the Class IV hitch I had installed by a Volvo dealer. It was roughly another $1000, including installation. The metallic paint option and paint protection likewise worthwhile. These Bold Metallic Blue cars are fairly rare, and I was lucky to find one. It just feels . . happy. Also not listed on the window sticker is the Volvo cargo grate, a nice safety feature to keep things from flying forward. Great if you have a pet. (We have a new goldendoodle pup, but he"s never been inside and won"t be. That"s what our trucks are for.)The price I"m asking is more than most of what you"ll see. The difference is the options, which added another $14,000 to the base price. If you want a cheaper XC90 with higher miles, they"re out there. If you want and appreciate a premium car, this is a bargain for what it is.I also have another oil filter and a case of the expensive Castrol Oil that the car requires.I can deliver the car in Blaine, Washington, which is two hours north of Seattle. For an additional $200 I can deliver it to Bellingham WA, which has daily jet service if you care to fly in. Where I live and where the Volvo is located, we have to travel through Canada to get back to the U.S. It"s something of a chore. I can deliver to Bellingham, but it"s complicated and means my wife had to boat over as a way of getting me back. Easily enough done, just a full day"s doing and quite a bit of fuel.
