The vehicle was originally purchased as a lemon law buyback, when we received the car we brought to the nearest Smart dealer to have it completely checked out. They installed a new battery and updated the software. The car has given us great service from day one. It is extremely fun to drive and has zero issues. It has an 8 year, 62,000 mile warranty on the battery and 4year 50,000 mile WARRANTY BUMPER to BUMPER! ! honored by Smart. We have all the documentation showing the battery was replaced.
