2018 Ram 3500 Megacab Limited with Rambox Diesel Single rear wheels. Truck is equipped with every option available and more. Sunroof, cooled and heated front and rear seats. Heated steering wheel. I think it has snow/winter package as well.
This truck has extended warranty with unlimited miles. Yes, you read it right. .I purchased a platinum plan that has no limit on the miles with only $100.00 deductible regardless how big the repair is.
Outside Color is Black. Interior color is two-tone: Tan and Indigo blue. Floor carpet color is the dark indigo blue.
This truck was nothing more than a toy and was never used to haul anything even though it is capable of doing the heavy work. The Megacab, if you are not familiar with it, offers the most cab space of any truck, bar none. That was the selling point for me as I was looking for a truck that would comfortably accommodate a family of 5 on extended road trips. .and it did so very well. when I laid the back seat down, I had my wife and two kids sleeping in the back comfortably. When the seats were put up, they would recline to a more comfortable sitting position.
There is nothing more that I can add about the Cummins 6.7 diesel engine. .it"s time tested and proven. This truck has the upgraded High Output "Aisin" transmission to handle the heaviest of loads in the steep climbs. This truck has engine brake which comes in handy when you are descending steep hills. I have just replaced the original brake pads at 72,000 miles and the original still had at least 25% life in them thanks to the engine brake.
35 size tires are almost brand new. I replaced them in July before starting a road trip. the original Nitto mud tires had at least another 10,000 miles left on them but I didn"t want to have to deal with that midway through the trip so I replaced them with All Terrain Toyo Open Country. You have another 50,000 miles at least before you"d start looking at replacement, especially that the truck comes with a 5 year plan with Tire Kingdom for unlimited alignment, tire rotation and balance (plan was purchased in July 2020).
Truck has a 3" lift and is equipped with rear air bags to keep the truck level regardless of the load weight or trailer tongue weight. Truck has a tonneau / bed cover that can withstand a 300lbs person standing on it. it slides and locks wherever you stop it. It cost $2,500. Truck also comes with a bed divider/organizer to help keep things organized in the back.
Truck is equipped with AM Research running boards as well as a rear bumper step (as shown in the pictures) which cost an additional $2,400.
Truck has trailer tow mirrors that stow away for a lower profile.
Truck has two rear-view cameras (one back up camera and one cargo area).
I have attached a couple pictures that show two areas that have minor blemishes. the first one is one of rim and the second is on the rear passenger side bumper/quarter panel. Otherwise, there is absolutely nothing to report on this truck inside & out. It is in immaculate condition and a pleasure to drive. The interior is super clean. The original two-tone color floor mats are still in brand new condition and have never been used. I also bought another set of RAM floor mats that I never used. Instead, I opted for weather tech ones that have served me well.
