Vehicle description
This car was purchased in January 2019 as a leftover 2018 and has full warranty until January 2022.
I am the original owner of this 2018 McLaren 570S coupe. It was purchased in January of 2019 so the warranty is good through January of 2022.
The car is McLaren Orange with full leather interior, premium audio, super lightweight wheels, and sport exhaust with stealth tips. It has all interior carbon fiber options including steering wheel, center console, center tunnel, door switchgear, and door inserts. The hood, doors, a-pillars, front fenders, front bumper, side scoops, side skirts, lower quarter panels, and the panels behind the rear wheels are all covered with Xpel. The mirrors were as well but I recently removed the film from the mirrors as it was starting to bubble. The entire car is ceramic coated with Gyeon Quartz. I"m obsessive about proper car washing and detailing and as a result this car looks like it has closer to 2k miles than 10k.
The car just had its 10k mile service performed at McLaren Philadelphia and the paperwork will accompany the car. I also had an alignment done and new front tires installed at that time. The rears were replaced 1k miles prior to that, so all the tires are in great shape. There"s a major advantage in purchasing a 10-11k mile McLaren as opposed to an 8-9k car in that the buyer will save $4k on the service. I replaced the factory Pirellis with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S as I find them to be a superior tire.
I"ve been told this car has a "factory 600LT tune" with full warranty:
An interesting fact about this car is that it has a "factory tune" and can beat a 600LT. This information was relayed to me by a McLaren dealer. Shortly after I purchased the car I did a few "fun runs" against a 600LT and a tuned 570S. To everyone"s astonishment, my stock 570S was either even with or ahead of their cars. I called the dealer to inquire how this could be possible and they told me that McLaren sold a handful of 570S with the 600LT development tune on the car from the factory. These cars were supposed to be track demos and McLaren put the hotter tune on so prospective buyers would be overwhelmed by the performance. My car was one such vehicle but was never used for this purpose. To be clear, I bought it with just a handful of miles on it and it was never tracked or demoed prior to (or during) my ownership. The vehicle is 100% factory stock and has never been modified. I lucked out in that I got a stock car with a full warranty that will keep up with a tuned 570S or 600LT. I"m aware how absurd this sounds. I"ve been a car guy my whole life and if someone told me this story at a cars and coffee, I"d have a laugh after they walked away. This is the explanation that was given to me and I believe it because this car is much faster than it should be. So the buyer of this vehicle will have 600LT level performance in a stock 570S with a full warranty.
Aside from a couple highway passes where I discovered the above, this car has never been raced or tracked. The original carbon ceramic brake pads and rotors are in excellent shape and attest to this.
Please contact me with any questions or if further pictures are required at [email protected]. I know the care with which I"ve treated the car so I know it will make the next owner very happy.
