After having multiple show winning bagged (air ride) trucks throughthe years I wanted to build a lifted truck that no one had ever done nor seenbefore. The typical crew cab and ¾ ton F-250’s , Duramax’s and Rams are dime adozen and all begin to look the same for the most part in the customized /lifted truck scene. I set out on a year and a half journey with some of themost recognized builders in the industry to create the most bad ass new bodysingle cab show truck ever. ! I wanted to build something fun , both retro and new school.Nothing like an old square body K10 on 40’s. as it is the most iconic lifted truckever and no one has thought about making a modern more epic version until now! However this modern version was built to hold its own to out perform tuned diesels as well as be able to be driven safely to and from without compromise! “One Off” - latestbody style short bed standard cab on a big lift with plenty horsepower thatstops on a dime. Built right with the highest quality parts to be able to drivein a daily environment comfortably. Full Build cost breakdown upon request Twin turbos estimated at 500 horsepower reliability tuned on5 psi to add just enough additionalpower with plenty of room to add moresafe boost if desired. Rear mounted idea came about from seeing Corvettes onthe drag strip having them rear mounted. Why not on a truck! Who else hasengineered such a system on a truck , on a truck period?! NO ONE! How can youshow off a pair of twin turbos or a supercharger under the hood on a minimonster truck? No one could truly really appreciate the workmanship beinghidden out of sight. So we mounted them under the bed and incorporated the oneoff hand built stainless steel “Jet Fighter” stealthy exhaust tip just to add acherry on top. This system was built by Pro Fabrication in Concord NorthCarolina as a moral booster for the crew as a very rarely taken on projectoutside of their day to day manufacturing operations for SEMA 2019 . A typicalworkday at Profabrication is to produce all of the Nascar headers and exhaust ,NHRA - headers and highest of quality prominent motorsports exhaust parts aswell as own and manufacture Big City Thunder Exhaust in house for V Twins andHarley Davidsons. Some of the nations finest exhaust engineers and fabricatorsare the heart of the operation and collectively put together a true work of artof mandrel bent , flawlessly welded , V-Band multi piece , serviceable one offtwin turbo system using the finest grade of stainless steel , VibrantPerformance , Turbosmart Technologies combined with NHRA spec fluid tranferlines custom built by Brown and Miller Racing . This was a VERY RAREopportunity to have had this crew with such skilled engineers and fabricatorsbuild a rolling work of art full twin turbo system like this. Truly flawlessand well thought out system! Every part on thistruck has been touched with detail. Combining Deep Ocean Blue (oem GM paintcode 409Y) , Switchblade Silver (oem GMpaint code 636R) , polished stainless steel , brushed aluminum to the bluestitching on the leather and suede upholstery . 48 led rock lights light up thechassis and underbody details with the touch of the 10” Alpine head unitcontrol center screen. This awarded Best of Show “Interior” with its hand built custom center consoledesigned around the 4x4 selector with a single 12” JL Audio 12w6 subwooferalong with 3 sets of 6.5” JL CS component speakers powered by a High Definition900watt 5 channel JL Audio amplifier provides some of the most crisp – powerfulsound you have ever heard. Not to mention the star lit fiberoptic suedeheadliner and one off star lit door panels trimmed in led backlit accents makesthe interior of this Silverado a world of its own. The underside of the chassisof this build is just as impressive as the top side view. Display mirrors usedat shows do not completely do the view justice of the under carriage. 6 piston two piece 16 inch rotor Wilwood big brake set up ,each piece separately painted to match the build stop this big guy on a dime! 28x16 CNC cut one off T6066 Aviation grade forged billet wheelswrapped in a set of 40x15.50-28 Fury Country Hunter M/T tires keep thisSilverado grounded. Brushed grain natural finish with color matched Deep OceanBlue windows and script clear coated to lock in the finish – Low maintenance (nopolishing - wash n go) – left rear wheel has small rock chip) none bent or curbedand package having roughly 3500 miles on them Amp Power Step XL retractable step bar were custom built oneoff for this single cab to allow easy access / exit. As well as fit preciselyin between the Bushwacker pocketed fender flares tip to tip for a streamlineside profile presentation. This 10-12” Adjustable coilover front shocks with customlaser cut traction bars front and rear FTS – (Full Throttle Suspension) lift kit powdercoated silver. 3.0” Daystar Body Lift giving the max lift 15” currently set at13 inches of lift for a comfortable ride height. 40” Fury tires along with 8 additional chrome plated external reservoirnitrogen filled shocks that ride and performs as well as they look. 10 totalshock set up. Front bumper , full front drivers and passengers fender ,entire hood , a pillars , (has rock chip marks from travel in paint protectionfilm) undersides of the Amp power steps and 16 inches up along side of the bodyare wrapped in Llumar Platinum paint protection film to help protect theoriginal GM Deep Ocean Blue paint form rock chips and debris. Trex X-Metal mesh grill has had every part custom painted tomatch the Air Force inspired color combo and has dual backlit led motionlighting to give the front end a truly unique night time look along side theDemon eye – DRL color adjustable Projector in the headlights with Morimoto LEDtail lights. Retrax Pro MX aluminum tamperproof bedcover color matched tothe body color with a carpeted bed interior provided by BEDRUG and DEEZEE softopen tailgate hinges.
