Vehicle description

This one-owner "Go Mango" 2017 Dodge Challenger 6.4 L HEMI Scat Pack TREMEC 6-Speed Manual belonged to my father, who passed away in June. He factory-ordered this car with the precise combination of options he wanted, loved it and maintained it carefully, and it remains in almost as-new condition. The car is offered with two keys, owner"s manual, full service records and a clean Carfax report, and I believe it is still under the manufacturer"s warranty of 3 years/36,000 miles limited & 5 years/60,000 miles power train. The car is very quick, big and comfortable, and looks the business with that front splitter.
It"s an absolute blast to drive. It is NOT SUBTLE. The word I generally use to describe it is BONKERS. He selected this model because it has the 485 hp/475 ft-lb Hemi engine without the cost premium of some of the upper models in the Challenger lineup. It has multiple engine and steering modes for comfort/sport driving and Dodge Performance Pages auxiliary digital gauges and timers.
PLEASE NOTE this is a MANUAL SHIFT car, so if you are looking for an auto this is probably not the ride for you. #SaveTheManuals!
I"m an honest seller and want you to get what you expect, so in the interest of full disclosure here are some details of interest:
The car has never been tracked or raced, and Dad drove it reasonably.
When not driven it was stored under a carport in Alabama from new, so it has very minimal exposure to sun, snow or salt.
It comes with a full set of car-specific WeatherTech floor mats and trunk liner.
I just had the car serviced 7/20/2018 with OEM-recommended Pennzoil Gold Full Synthetic oil and a Mopar filter.
I drove it on its last long trip and got a full 26 miles per gallon average on the trip computer, which amazed me.
The rear window was replaced early on, by the dealer and under warranty, because three of the defroster lines in the original window didn"t work. I believe it"s fully functional now.
There are two aftermarket Hella fog lights in front of the grille, with a clean installation of a control switch in the lower part of the dash near the parking brake.
My Dad"s wife used a walker or wheelchair, so for longer trips he had affixed a cargo platform to a trailer hitch receiver. It seemed unlikely a buyer would want that so I"ve had it removed. The car was never used to actually tow anything, to my knowledge.
There"s some unknown substance in the joint where the driver"s mirror pivots, and I don"t know exactly why. The mirror itself works, including power adjustment, but the break-away pivot probably doesn"t (pictured).
There"s a spot on the rear seat near the center, two spots on the dash where a radar detector was affixed with velcro, and one area of curb rash on one wheel (pictured).
My father"s death, and an illness suffered by his wife, make this sale sudden, and our family is spread out in different states. The car does have a loan, which we"ll pay off with part of the proceeds from this sale. Because of this the lender has the title, and the car is registered in Alabama - and to facilitate all that has to happen with the sale, and protect you and us, we want to use escrow.com to manage the transaction. With some patience in that process you can have a really solid muscle car at a good price. See the payment instructions.
