Vehicle description

I"m relisting do to a non-paying buyer. I bought this 2017 Volt from a Chevy dealer a little more than a year ago. It had just over 1000 miles on it when I took possession. It was a manufacturer"s buyback as the engine needed to be replaced and was. I have since put about 28000 effortless highway miles on the vehicle using the engine to power the car about 2/3rds of the time - the battery about 1/3rd of the time. This was because my commute to work was about 150 miles round trip. I financed the car through BMO Harris bank. I have since changed jobs and paid off the car and no longer need it even though it is fun and a pleasure to drive. I have the title in hand. I paid the NADA "trade in value" for the car when I purchased it and have set the buy it now price in this auction to the current NADA trade in amount.
In order to keep rock chips to a minimum I had 3M Paint Protect film applied to the front of the car including the headlights. This film can easily be removed and I can do that if you like. The tires are the original Michelin Energy tires and looks like they have another 10K to 15K miles left on them. There is a front license plate bracket that comes with the car. Also I am including an adapter to connect the charger to a 220 NEMA plug which mated to a mating jack that was installed in my garage by an electrician. The Volt carries the remainder of its 36 month, 36,000 mile factory warranty of which I understand the battery is warrantied for 100K miles. If you have any questions or need additional photos, please email. $500 deposit is due in two business days. Paypal is okay but a 3% fee will be applied.
Thanks and good luck bidding!
Dear southwestpilot,
Everything about the Volt works as it should. It has never been in an accident. The paint does have one small scratch/crack in the black paint just below license plate on passenger side which was there when I took possession of the vehicle. Looks like it got bumped probably while being transported. Otherwise the paint seems perfect. From what I was told the original engine had a manufacture"s latent defect - and so because of the time it would take to replace it GM took the car back. You can talk to your local Chevy dealer about it - just give them the VIN. You could also get a CarFax to verify - that is what I did just before I purchased it. Hope this helps, -Grant Carlson.

Qurestion 1: Does the car have any damage history? Any known issues? Do you have any information about the buyback/engine swap?
