Vehicle description
This is our 2017 BMW M3 F80 with 17,550 mi. as it sits and we are opting to sell it privately. The BMW paint color is called "Mineral Grey Metallic" and the BMW leather interior is called "Black Extended Merino Leather." This M3 has never seen Winter/inclement season driving and it is without question in immaculate condition. Ample time/energy/money went into maintaining it"s condition both aesthetically and mechanically. No expense was ever spared, including the $3,000 PPF investment (paint protection film) that was professionally installed when brand new (more written below on what that is and where on the vehicle panels it was installed). Thousands of additional new dollars was just spent within the last 30 days/40 mi. of driving (written under "Service History/Recent Work Completed" below). We are the second owners, having purchased it from a good personal Thomaston Maine based friend on 11-5-18 at 9,255 mi. (as verified by the title which we have in hand). The photos were taken in a climate/humidity/temperature controlled storage facility. I"ll be taking careful attention below to offer all pertinent info. to a discerning buyer.
Full Ownership History:
This M3 was special preference ordered/built and later purchased as a BMW European delivery with travel to Germany to complete it before being freighted to the U.S. for ownership. Note the Euro sticker on the lower front right of the windshield (shown up close in the final attached photo collage image). The manufacturer production date was in February of 2017. Owner number one purchased it on 4-5-17 which is the official BMW "in-service" date. This is when the warranty started. It has a flawless two owner Carfax and AutoCheck history report. Frames of the AutoCheck are included in the final attached image and a full AutoCheck history report is including in this posting. It has all original paint. It"s never been in a minor non-reported fender bender, bump, or mild mishap of any sort.
Warranty:
BMW offers a 4 yr 50k mi. warranty which covers everything. The warranty started on 4-5-17 and will expire on 4-5-21 OR 50k mi., which ever comes first. This warranty is fully comprehensive and covers everything except tires, brakes, windshield wipers, light bulbs, all wearable parts, etc.
Service History/Recent Work Completed:
Every single thing this M3 has ever needed has been adhered to according to the BMW dealer service menu. Most recently (within the last 30 days) ample investment has been made which include the following, all of which was bought/paid for within the last 40 mi. of driving:
1. New (all 4) Factory OE Continental ContiSportContact 5P tires were installed approx. 40 mi. ago (255/35 ZR 19 XL 96 Y on the fronts and 275/35 ZR 19 XL 100Y on the rears) with the mounting/balancing professionally done at the BMW Dealership.
2. A 4-wheel alignment was done at the BMW Dealership with the alignment slip documented in the records.
3. A BMW 12 mos./10k mi. LOF/oil change was completed using a BMW OE oil filter and 7 qts of the BMW proprietary full synthetic motor oil within the last 40 mi. of driving.
4. The car has a full tank of Super grade fuel while it sits in storage.
5. High Quality Detailing/a $1,000 expense: Within the last 20 mi. of driving we had a professional and comprehensive professional Auto Detail which included a multi-stage paint correction and ceramic coating. The paint is utterly flawless. Attached image #5 was taken at the detail bay in OOB. You"ll have to work VERY hard to find a fine micro scratch. I cannot find one. I also opted to have them do a full tire/wheel removal so that the calipers and wheels (faces and inner barrels) could also be fully prepped and ceramic coated. Gtechniq products were used on everything including the wheels and calipers done with Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor (ceramic coating to withstand heat made exclusively for wheels/calipers). The wheels were hand torqued back to BMW spec (90-105 lbs.). The purpose of the ceramic coating is so the car will hand wash and clean with exponentially more ease. Dirt and contaminants wash off easily. The interior was also just fully blow out with an air gun and all the door jams were done as well as a full engine bay hand detail.
PPF (paint protection film):
Before the car was driven when brand new PPF (paint protection film) was applied to every single wear area cars are known for, an over $3,000 expense. I"ll mention the areas here but I also included a photo collage as the second to the last/23rd attached image so you can see for yourself. PPF was applied to both headlights, both fenders, side mirrors, both b-pillars, both lower side skirts (these cover the rocker panels), the rear hips/dog bones (in front of both rear tires), the front of the rear bumper (a PPF portion extending from the top of the rear bumper down the lower sides), and the rear bumper applique (a protective strip over the rear bumper). Every corner and edge of the PPF is wearing %100 perfectly with no raised edges or premature wear of any sort.
Condition:
This M3 is so clean and particular that I think you"ll struggle to find any noted flaw. There isn"t a door ding or scratch. The PPF has kept the entire front portion flawless when being driven on the interstate (zero sandblasting or front end paint wear). The windshield is perfect. Not a single mark or flaw. All four M alloy wheels are literally perfect. Not kind of perfect, 10/10 showroom perfect. The calipers are also perfect. The wheels have only been off twice recently (once for tire install and once for ceramic coating of the wheels/calipers). The calipers are in perfect condition without a single mark. The interior is also flawless. I don"t believe the rear seats have ever actually been sat in and the front passenger seat has only been used a few times. There isn"t a single sign of wear you"ll be able to detect and I don"t think anything has ever been placed in the trunk more than a time or two. It has never been smoked in and never had a pet or child inside. I don"t think it"s ever been eaten in once.
