I purchased the car in October, 2014 out of Mocksville, N.C. It was first leased by the dealer in N.J. in August of 2004, and then sold and moved to Cornelius, N.C. in January, 2006. It was then sold and moved to Kannapolis, N.C. in September. 2008, and then to the fourth owner that I bought the car from in February, 2014 in Mocksville, N.C. The "Auto Check" verified the four previous owners, dates and mileage"s leading up to my purchase and verified that there had never been any accidents. Mileage was 46,000 miles. It was driven from N.C. to Oklahoma City where the new struts and top plates were installed. We detailed the car and then I drove it to Montgomery, Texas where I live.
I entered it in several Jaguar concours d"elegance"s in 2015. We didn"t place nationally in our first year of competition. We were able to correct items/deductions by several judges with the car during the show season and placed first in the south central region with a score of 100.00.
In 2016 we drove the car to several concours events in Oklahoma City, Dallas, Houston and Georgetown, Texas. We finished the show season with a cumulative score of 99.99667 out of 100.00 and a national championship!
In 2017 we only entered three shows, did not place nationally, but did finish in third place within the S.C. region with a score of 99.99.
And finally in 2018 we got serious once again driving to several shows and finished as runner-up national champion with a score of 99.98667!
We are very involved with the Jaguar Club of Houston, competing in car shows and being the concours" chairman within our club. I"m also a certified judge and I am asked to judge local Corvette and British car shows, as well as the annual Keels and Wheels concours in Seabrook, Texas.
The car has never been in an accident, never had any water damage and is always garaged.
