Vehicle description

Vehicle Details NO RESERVE, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT IT WILL GO FOR IN THE BIDDING. I have loads of modifications all picked out meticulously to turn this original 707 Horsepower beast into something insane. It is loud, super fast, and awesome. No issues to date, this thing has been bullet proof since day one including since the modifications. Make an offer, I'm ready to move onto my next project. The current Dodge Challenger is a terrific blend of old and new. It combines modern powertrain, infotainment, and safety technologies with classic styling that’s a true homage to the E-body original from the early Seventies. Since its return to the Dodge lineup in 2008, the Challenger has received ever more potent powerplants, with the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 in the SRT Hellcat delivering a thunderous amount of power. For some muscle-car enthusiasts, the Hellcat’s 707 horsepower is just a starting point. This 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is a modern performance monster. I had it modified and tuned to produce an estimated 1,020 horsepower at the crank. There are a number of modifications that will make this car stand out from other Challengers. And with just over 25,000 miles showing on the odometer, this Hellcat’s life of tire-squealing, quarter-mile-dominating fun is just getting started.POWERTRAINAfter purchasing this Hellcat new in 2016, I kept it stock for two years before deciding to modify it. In the spirit of “go big or go home,” I spent some time doing my homework and researching the best modifications available. In January of 2019, I took it to Gearhads Performance of Mansfield, Texas, where a variety of modifications were installed, including a Metco 2.65 ratio upper pulley and hub, a BWoody idler, Innovators West 9.3 percent crank pulley and pin kit, a Legmaker carbon-fiber intake, Injector Dynamics 1300-cc injectors, Brisk Silver Racing spark plugs, Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump, JBA mid-pipe, Corsa Extreme exhaust and a Diablosport Trinity ECU tuner. The mods and subsequent tuning by Bailey’s Hyperformance of Fort Worth, Texas, yield 887 rear-wheel horsepower, according to the seller, with an estimated 1,020 horsepower and 1,018 lb-ft of torque at the crank, a significant bump on the already insane 707 factory horsepower of the Hellcat. The six-speed manual-based driveline also received additional upgrades to cope with the massive output from the boosted Hemi V-8. The McCloud Racing clutch is rated to withstand up to 1,200 horsepower and the DDS aluminum one-piece driveshaft is also rated for high-horsepower applications. A Barton short-shifter makes for quick work for the driver. The engine is tuned to run on E85 and the aftermarket exhaust system is without catalytic converter, however, it can be easily tuned to run on regular premium gas but there will be a small loss of horsepower, maybe 100 or so, give or take a little. The car will pass inspection on E85 with the modifications in Texas, but the emissions requirements in your state may vary. Also, thanks to the aftermarket exhaust, the engine makes an “incredible sound, with plenty of snaps and pops.CHASSISThe wheels are currently wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero performance tires with special “Hellcat” lettering on the sidewall. The car will also come with a pair of Race Star wheels mounted with M&H Racemaster 325/45R17 DOT-approved drag radials. The Challenger Hellcat came equipped from the factory with an adaptive suspension with Street, Sport, and Track drive modes. This allows the driver to dial in the stiffness of the ride quality. The power steering, four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes and suspension are all in good condition and do not need servicing.EXTERIORFor the Challenger Hellcat, Dodge replaced one of the headlight assemblies with an open-center headlight with an LED ring, allowing more air to flow through the front to feed the big, boosted V-8. The seller notes the Challenger has its original paint and no blemishes. It features an aftermarket black racing stripe, which the seller adds can be removed. It also has the custom “claw-scrape” decal over the driver’s side headlight surround. Other custom touches include special “1020 HP” badging on the quarter panel and trunk lid.INTERIORThe SRT Hellcat features unique red instruments, red push-button start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio, phone, and cruise controls buttons. The Hellcat also comes with dual-zone climate control, a sunroof, and a Harmon/Kardon premium stereo. According to the seller, all the gauges, lighting, HVAC and power features function properly. This Hellcat comes equipped with Alcantara-clad seats. The seller reports the seats, carpet, and all interior dash materials and trim are all in excellent condition. This is supported by the images provided. At the center of the dash is the large touchscreen, which features Dodge’s UConnect infotainment system. As touchscreen systems go, UConnect has a reputation for ease of use with a tablet-like layout. UConnect also includes SRT Performance Pages, which is a series of menus that provide enhanced engine status updates. It also has a G-force meter and the ability to track your performance on 0-60, 0-100, and quarter-mile runs.DOCUMENTATION/EXTRASThis vehicle will be sold on a clean Texas title in the seller’s name with a bank lien to be satisfied and released upon successful completion of the sale of the vehicle. The extra set of Race Star rear wheels shod in drag radials are also included.I have taken this car to the track once before the modifications and it has never been to the drag strip. With just over 25,000 miles on the odometer, this Challenger is sure to be a potent, fun ride for its next owner. Images Download the Motors app
