Vehicle Details This is a one-owner 2015 VW Beetle Convertible that has performed flawlessly since I bought it in 2015. While it has 103K miles, it looks and performs as a new car. These cars often run to 200K miles with no problems, and a new, low-mileage engine can be had for only $ 2000. The dealer service costs have only run $200 per year average, and the original tires lasted for 70K miles. No other issues have come up wit this car, and everything works as designed. VW stopped making the classic Beetle convertible in 2019, and a comparable new one is $35K. This particular model was made to look like the classic 60's Beetle, with black wheels and chrome rims and hubcap, a piano-gloss black dash, and even an old-fashioned tonneau cover. The seats harken to the old houndstooth interiors, with tan vinyl trim and checkered fabric inserts. The interior is in like-new condition - only the driver seat has ever been used.The car has all the latest technology, including a 1.8 liter high-horsepower Turbo engine, a navigation system, heated seats, voice-actuated smartphone, Pandora, CD, AM/FM, Ipod and Bluetooth connection. The power top takes only a few seconds to raise and lower. This particular car has been fitted with an auxiliary towing hitch and wiring, to handle a motorcycle or utility trailer up to 1500 pounds. An extra new tire is provided in case of unfixable puncture. There are no dents, and only a few parking lot scratches which can be polished out. It had only one small rear bumper tap early on, but the cover was replaced with a new painted cover - no other harm was done. Absolutely everything on this car works as intended.
