Vehicle description
NO RESERVE! Great-looking car and paint after 2 minor repairs needed.
This car must sell so we can buy our Tesla Model 3 on 14 April. 90,000 miles is approximate as we are still using it for a 20-mile commute to work. You can drive it home or have it picked up in Mesa, Arizona. We will assist you with a charging plan to get it home. We will also drive it to you anywhere that has a path of working L2/L3 charging stations with no series of 3 farther than 40 miles apart. We will research it and let you know. Our fee is only $2 per mile one way paid in advance. You can buy the car by mail or buy it after you inspect it. If you decline the car without substantial cause then in our discretion we will repair the defect or keep our transportation fee and the $100 non-refundable holding deposit.
2015 NISSAN LEAF SL PREMIUM LEATHER-APPOINTED SEATS. HEATED STEERING AND SEARS FRONT AND BACK. VERY NICE TO HAVE HEAT EVEN IN ARIZONA WINTERS. BOSE AUDIO WITH SUB-WOOFER DVD PLAYER USB PORT FOR CHARGING OR APPLE MUSIC DEVICES AUX PORT FOR ANDROIDS 360 DEGREE BACK-UP CAMERAS SOLAR PANEL ON THE SPOILER REMOVABLE LUGGAGE PRIVACY COVER LED HEADLIGHTS
Condition: Paint is glossy and in good shape other than the one described damage area. Battery is 9 of 13 bars. It has had over 600 fast charges, survived 4 Arizona summers and 90,000 miles. It’s degradation rate has slowed in absolute numbers. This is the last of the Lizard batteries that degrade 10% per year. 2016-2019 batteries, unfortunately, degrade 20% per year because of their higher capacity. Our guess-o-meter gives us 40-60 miles on a 100% charge, depending upon whether we drove on freeways or surface roads.
Nissan replaces the battery for around $7000. After-market reconditioned batteries may become available in coming years for around $100/month battery-as-a-service, or maybe $3000-$4000.
Conservative range is 50 miles between charges. Or 1/2 mike for every 1% of battery charge. This is driving conservatively in right lane or HOV lande at 54 mph or surface roads at 44 mph with reasonably reduced acceleration/deceleration. Using AC in summer can take off 5-10 miles. Driving fast can deplete the range in minutes as explained by physics: Wind resistance increasing at a 3rd power to speed. Best place to charge it is home or work. VW is building a great charging network at Walmart’s near freeways. It improves over time.
Damage report: No major accidents. Panels, door, and paint only, in parking lots only. Be very careful of full acceleration while turning right in parking lots! There has been some minor professional body and paint restoration. The fiber under body covers may have some scrapes, which is normal.
Since restoration, we also scraped off some paint on the passenger side rear fender and bumper cover, which still requires repair. The right fog lamp and glass cover are broken, barely noticeable but requires repair.
5 After-market accessories included for free at your option: 1. A 2nd portable EVSE that connects to a 3-prong dryer plug for 24A or auto-switches to a 20A 110V outlet (often on outside walks of buildings or in washing machine or dishwasher or garbage disposal outlets, using a simple plug adapter, not included). This one is not certified waterproof like the original NISSAN one is (also included), so you must raise the part with lights above any potential water, cover it, and also keep it ventilated. 2. 3 cord wraps with handles. 3. A flexible cord ramp. 4. A 15A 110V bright orange extension cord. 5. A homemade false bottom storage case with hinged to that goes under the hatchback carpet. See photos to understand how nice this is for carrying your charging accessories.
Included: Original Nissan EVSE, storage bag, carpets, manuals, dealers ad plate with features list,, luggage privacy cover, 2 contactless keys with touch keys and hard keys inside.
Not included: Nothing I can think of.
