LOVE my Mazda CX-5, only had it four months but I need the cash for my new house instead. House or car. .no contest. So, it"s a great vehicle, that rides and the Pro"s of the Grand Touring model is that it comes fully loaded with all the bells and whistles including navigation, back-up camera, leather seats, bluetooth, seat heaters, cd player, bose speakers, it even has headlights that turn as you drive around corners and rain sensing wipers - how cool is that? Remote keyless entry, proximity sensors for the fob, power seats, moonroof etc, etc. Seriously, the list of goodies goes on and on. It"s also immaculate inside and out, with a few stone chips and nicks from the hazards of driving. It"s clean, tidy and looks smashing in red.
Now for the Cons; When I bought it from Commuter Cars, they came back with a 1 sheet of paper and a couple of lines from Carfax that said it had been in an accident. No other details. I nearly walked away then, but really like how it drove on the test drive, plus I had the car checked over by my fave mechanics who gave it the thumbs up. So I took a chance and haven"t regretted it. In fact I will be sorry to part with it. I bought an Autocheck report today, that detailed not one but two accidents, one in which the airbag was deployed, the other minor but both involved right side impact with another vehicle. Lousy drivers, It happens. You"d never know it now as the car looks and drives beautifully. My one issue is that the tire sensor pressure light sensor keeps coming on though I"ve had it checked twice, the last by a mechanic who explained that since the sensors are manual, even a slight variance in one can cause the indicator light to come on. The fix he told me, was to deflate all four tires and then refill them to recommended tire pressure. I just haven"t gotten around to doing that. Great shopping basket/baby mover/people mover that does exactly what it"s made to do in classy rich red. I"m dropping the price for a quick sale, pickup/delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. Cashiers check or cash only please.
