Vehicle description

2015 Genesis Ultimate 5.0, V8 motor, purchased by my wife at Infiniti of Las Vegas in late 2018. This Genesis has every option available for the year, including HUD Display, Lane Departure Control, LKS frontal avoidance, Panoramic Sunroof, Leather, Heated/Cooled Seats, Smart Entry and Trunk, HEPA AirCon, Ultimate Lexicon Sound System 8.5" Touchscreen, Bluelink, etc,etc The Genesis runs perfect, no issues, no lights or warnings - transmission is very smooth through all the gears. Amazing power, this thing is a rocket with the 5.0MOTOR! Very clean inside, no tears or rips in the leather, never smoked in and no pets. Tires are 6 months old, brakes were done at the same time. This is where the story gets interesting and long - My wife is a structural architect, and this January she was under contract at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Back in February, when the COVID Scare started in Vegas, a large Caterpillar Construction machine managed to back up into the Passenger side rear door while she was at work. .It dented the door bad(see last pics) as well as minor scrapes on the quarter - that"s when the nightmare started. We contacted the Construction Site Insurance Co to file a claim, they use an insurance aggregator, but nonetheless the claim was filed and we were asked to take it to any Bodyshop in Las Vegas. It didn"t cross my mind that I should contact our own Insurance Co as well. .Keep in mind, this is when the shutdown for COVID started. 60 days after dropping the car off we were called to pick up the car from the shop. I picked up the car and took it for a 2nd opinion/inspection at another shop. Turns out the first shop only changed the door skin and not the complete door as estimated. I returned the car to the shop and declined the repair + called my insurance company. My insurance asked us to take it to another shop and use them. 2 months later and no car, I involved a lawyer and asked that they (insurance co) total the car or pay us the fair market value (I understand delays, but Body-shops were considered essential). My insurance company agreed to pay us the fair market value so we decided to go and put an order for the 2021 G90 which will be out in September. The new shop where the car was has also called us and told us that they finalized the repair (complete rear door and complete inner parts). At this point, we already returned home to AZ and found out that according to the Insurance Co repair was finalized and the car would not be a total loss/salvage. I flew back to Las Vegas just to find out that the car was released to the Insurance Company so they can now auction it off. We called the insurance to try to keep the car and do a buyback from them or the auction Co. After days of delays, we were granted buyback through the auction co. .however, now AZMVD wants to issue a Restored Salvage Title anyways. I do have the original Nevada title which is clean, but we are trying to deal with AZ MVD which has been closed since March. .To make a long story short - this Genesis will have a Restored Salvage Title. We have simply given up on fighting anymore, we want to sell and we will just take possession of the new Genesis next month. Lesson learned for us.
Please take a look at the pics, what you see is what I have. Last Pics are of the damage which was since repaired. I also have a Carfax, which lists the accident but not a total loss. 2 sets of keyfobs (one may need batteries or syncing to the car), current emissions, a current registration, and titled in AZ. The mileage will go up as she drives the car daily until we will take possession of the new Genesis at the end of the month. I can help with any carrier or transport company, however - shipping and logistics are the buyers responsibility! A $250 PayPal deposit is required by the end of the auction
Please do not contact me with lowball offers or trades. I will not reply.
THE LAST 3 PICTURES SHOW THE DAMAGE BEFORE REPAIR!
