Vehicle description
2015 Honda Fit EX for sale with a white orchid exterior and black cloth interior. It has a 6-speed manual transmission with hill start assist control. Everything works. One the lowest costs of ownership of any car, gas or electric, yet shockingly well-optioned. Features include push button start, cruise control, moon/sun roof, custom fit waterproof driver/passenger/trunk liners, daytime running lights, fog lights, front and rear head airbags, passenger airbag occupant sensing deactivation, anti-theft alarm system, automatic headlamps, tire pressure monitor, blind spot warning system, traction control and brake assist, tilt steering wheel, illuminated entry, driver vanity mirror (no light), backup camera, right side blindspot/curb camera, and rear window wiper. The door sensors for the touch keyless entry work better than on my Mercedes. It is bluetooth-equipped, and has multiple USB and 12V ports.
The first owner bought the car in the in Orlando, FL area and used it as a freeway commuter. The current owner bought the car in Florida on January 24, 2017 with 29,200 miles on it. Current owner is a 40+ year old female retired Naval officer who has taken great care of the car. It got washed and waxed regularly and the pride of ownership shows. It is still titled in Florida but has been driven out to Lompoc, CA recently where we are now selling it. We have both keys and the original owner"s manual.
The 2015 Honda Fit is a remarkably well-designed car. It"s fun to drive, with plenty of pep, yet averages 35 mpg plus in the city, around 38 combined, and has seen as high as 42 with pure highway driving. You can fit things in it that would not fit in most CUVs, as the rear seats can lay flat or have the seat portion retract and be pinned vertically to put 4" tall objects behind the driver and passenger seat. This also lets you put things behind the front seats instead of having them roll around in the rear. The rear side doors open wider than normal for easy unloading of cargo and people. It has a surprisingly spacious interior, with the driver seat adjusting height and distance as well as lean angle (I"m 6"1" and I fit fine). The backseats are roomy enough for adults. However, the car is compact enough to park anywhere and leaves you space to get out when garaged. It is a phenomenal city car.
The car has great visibility all around. No pinched crossover back-ends or wide pillars to block your view. It also has a blind spot camera (pictured) that will come on with your right turn signal to help you avoid any obstacles (pictured - and the black line through the screen is just a quirk of the phone camera and refresh rate of the screen - not an actual flaw). There is an adjustable cupholder to the left of the steering wheel, and water-bottle size pockets on all four doors.
As for service history, everything is current. Oil and the engine air filter was changed at 64,800 (50% life left). All other maintenance schedule items have been followed, and the tires have at least 50% life left. A/C, heat, vent - it all works. The car drives straight and stops well.
The Rhino Rack 2500 Vortex pictured on the car does not convey. It can be purchased for $300. The car also has a mechanical warranty in place with a $100 deductible until 2025 or 75,000 miles that can be transferred for $240 if you want.
Here"s what I know is wrong: The foglight lenses took a rock on the way cross-country and have some cracks. They still operate well. There are some spots where paint has flaked or been chipped off. This includes some small stuff on the hood, the top leading edge of the rear hatch (pictured), similar flaw on the front of the gas door, a some spots and scuffs on the driver door. The rear bumper has some crazing/stress cracks (pictured) as well as some dark spots in the paint that I couldn"t detail out. There is some discoloration on the front seats and top of the center console. Two of the wheel have some marks. I"ve included a photo of the worse of the two. There"s a small windshield chip.
This car is ready to go and drive anywhere. We can pick you up at Santa Barbara airport and let you drive it off after funds are transferred. Similarly, we will also work with your shipper after funds have cleared.
Absolutely no test drives if you don"t know how to drive a manual transmission.
Vehicle is sold as is/where is. All known flaws have been disclosed. No warranty conveys other than remaining manufacturer emissions warranty and the mechanical warranty if you want it for $240.
