Available for purchase via auction is an impeccably clean 2015 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor Sedan in exceptional condition, drives like new. Driven by and cared for by one driver for all but the first 11K miles of its 87K mile life so far. Washed weekly and waxed monthly with black wax. Appearance is like new, down to the brand new Firestone police correct tires which have only 8K miles on them.
This is not a used up torn up patrol car. This vehicle is in awesome condition and can go another 220K miles easy. This sedan was a Georgia PD detective car and decommissioned when it had 11K miles on it when I bought it. Has been private use all highway miles ever since and is one of the best driving and handling vehicles I have ever owned. It is rocket fast on acceleration and great on gas mileage. Vehicle has been driven for business - all highway miles from Boston to Florida. The exterior and interior are in excellent condition having been extremely well maintained since new. Oil changed with synthetic oil every 5K miles.
Currently has 87,000 miles and has had a laundry list of maintenance and new parts to make sure it keeps performing well and drives perfectly. It is being sold with no flaws and all maintenance up to date including:
New AC Condenser, new AC compressor, new AC evaporator and fan assembly. New catalytic converter (recall replacement), new airbag sensor module, new parking module, new windshield pump switch, brand new brakes all around, new Firestone high speed correct tires purchased 4 months and 4K miles ago. Over $5500 spent in the last 3 months, I am due for a new company car so I wanted this perfect before I sell it.
The car is outfitted with a Panasonic Tough Book Lap top, 12 voltDC to 110VAC inverter, digital amp meter, current meter, cell charger input and lighter charger input. Has a complete corner strobe kit on front headlights and rear tail lights. ALL SWITCHES HAVE BEEN REMOVED, the wires are labeled under the middle dash panel and the strobe head end is under the passenger seat-fully wired except for switches. Four weathertech mats included 2 front, 1 rear and 1 trunk.
I know this car so well I can tell you the three cosmetic flaws, exterior- there is a scratch above the rear driver side door about 2 inches long. The front hood edge nearest driver door has a dime size paint chip that was fixed with touch up paint. Rear bumper has a 3 inch spider in the paint from a parking lot tap. it looks like new inside and out. Interior is in nice condition, no wear and tear- passenger and rear seats never sat in. ALways cleaned, no tears or rips, passenger and rear seat- never sat in and rubber flooring looks brand new
