Vehicle Details For auction is this 2015 Chevrolet Caprice PPV. Owned by Connecticut State Police as a “ghost car” in the elite Highway traffic division. Issued to one Trooper as a take-home unit. Connecticut did not have many Caprices in fleet, and this car is one of the last ones left. 189k highway miles. The 6.0 V8 runs strong, fast, and smoothly. Transmission shifts like clockwork. Features “Sport” mode, where the anti- slip may be disabled to the rear tires. Overall the car is very tight, and the Carfax report shows 53 Dealer/ Fleet service records, displaying how the car was cared for. Wheels are wrapped in the standard issue BFG tires with lots of tread and life left. The front brake rotors and pads are brand new. Fluids are bright and clean, and oil was just changed. There are no dash warning lights on. Vehicle appears to be quite mechanically sound. Heat blows hot/ AC blows cold. The body of the car is very straight and clean. Normal peppered stone abrasions on front bumper from highway cruising. No rust or dents. Normal scratches / dings/ chips are evident. Besides that, the body is exceptionally clean. The full cloth interior is in excellent condition. Drivers lower seat bolster does have a rip from Troopers gun. That is the only interior blemish. Vehicle is equipped with MY LINK Bluetooth system and back up camera. The backup camera does NOT work- dealer reflash? All windows and other accessories work properly. Car does not have a full center console. This is a clean car. It is a used fleet serviced car. Obviously normal blemishes and imperfections are expected.
