Hey all! I"m having to eventually part ways with my Subaru. It"s the most fun car I"ve ever driven and will most likely get another during my mid-life crisis. It"s at 65,000 miles and I purchased it about 18 months ago from the original owner who also lived in Charleston. He added a cat back exhaust system, a strut bar, and a drop kit. He also added a K&N Cold Air Intake which amps up the horsepower and also triggers the check engine light. May be something a technician or someone with a little knowledge could fix but I"ve had no problems aside from not being able to use cruise control on long trips since it stops as a safety measure due to the check engine light being triggered. I"ve added mostly aesthetics such as gold Enkei performance Rims to give it a classic rally look, a Cobb short throw shifter, a professional window tint w/ warranty, new front alpine speakers, mud flaps, a Yakima roof rack which includes a Subaru branded cargo bin, a radiator shield, and rubber floor/cargo mats. I"ve happily taken this car all over and it often turns heads. I even caught people taking pictures of it on separate occasions.
I have too many moves planned and too many piles of speeding tickets ; ) to hold on to it so I"m putting it on the market for someone who can give it the proper care and attention it deserves.
I still have all of the original parts including: the stock muffler, the stock engine air intake, the stock shocks, the cloth floor mats, the original front speakers, and the original shift knob and lever at a home in Beaufort, SC which I can pick up if anyone is interested. All of this will be included with the roof rack and cargo bin. I purchased the car for $23,000 at 40K miles and am starting offers at $18,500 , considering the add-ons as well as the minor dents and scratches it has.
