I love this manual transmission Honda Civic. I was hoping to drive it all the way to 300,000 miles. But my partner and I are moving in together, and it doesn"t make sense to keep two cars. I"ve taken really good care of the car since I bought it in January 2018 at 44,000 miles. I put new tires on when I bought it, so they have plenty of life left, probably at least 20,000 miles. I also installed Husky WeatherBeater floor mats, specifically shaped for 2014 Civics, so the floor is still nice and clean despite a few winters. (I have the original mats, too.) I"ve used a Bumper Bully to minimize scratches on the rear bumper.
I took the car to Honda mechanics for 50,000- and 60,000-mile checkups and had everything done that they told me to. I"ve never skimped on maintenance. All in all, the car remains in phenomenal condition, and it should last you a long, long time. I have a CARFAX report and complete records that I can show you.
It has a surprisingly sporty feel for a completely normal sedan. I was really glad to find a stick shift when I was looking for a used car. The clutch is very smooth. It also handles the snow well for having only front-wheel drive. Cargo space is not massive, obviously, but better than you might expect with the back seats down. It has some nice electronic features: oil life monitoring system, back-up camera, tire pressure monitoring system, and bluetooth connection. Finally, I"ve done a few longer trips, and I can verify that the seat is still comfy during the eighth hour of a drive.
