Vehicle description
I am the original owner. This is my second Miata. Like new, two set of remote keys for keyless entry (touch the door handle to get in), keyless start (no key insertion, just twist the knob, I like the look over the new ones. New ones on sale with canvas tops are $30,000. This is the Retractable Top and it is fast and works great. I think it has every option, power: windows, steering, and brakes. Cold AC, Bluetooth for phone, with top down you still have a full trunk to pack your bags, cruise control, automatic with paddle shifters. I have other cars with manual shifts but I really like this automatic. If you need to shift you can do it a the console by taping up or back in manual, or go to the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Very nice setup. SirusXM radio enabled, 6 CD changer by Boise, I play my iPod through it, heated seats, leather interior in a saddle brown. No road rash on the wheels. Tires are great. Clear plastic over floor mats that are like new with the white on black "MIATA MX-5". I traded a 2003 Corvette for this car. I love Corvettes, but I like driving this the best. Quick and agile. Great road car. I run Mobile synthetic in it and always add one ounce of Stabil per fill up. I am a hyper miler and I have repeatedly got 40 miles per gallon working at it around 50 to 55 miles per hour. The MPG calculator lets you find the sweet spot. Awesome car. Fly in, I will pick up up, go to the bank, and you drive home for a memorable trip. If you fly in I will allow $300 off the sell price. This is out of warranty but I have not had any problems with it. My 2006 had over 60,000 and never had a problem. These are known for their dependability. Clean title ready to go. Save $15,000+ plus over a new one with a comparable RTD. I can provide more pictures if desired. On Sep-02-19 at 09:09:01 PDT, seller added the following information: I dont see the message replies coming up. So to be brief a gal backed into me and cracked the passenger tail light. I replaced it with a brand new one. Long story but my insurance company wanted me to put in the claim so they could make State Farm pay for it. She admitted it at first. Later denied it. State Farm would only accept one witness testimony and then stated it was one against one. I shouldn"t have turned it in and caused a stink. But at the time it was the principle of the thing that got me. Hope this answers the accident report. OEM tail light. not a knock off. Looks great can"t tell anything happened. no misalignment of anything. On Sep-02-19 at 09:39:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Had a comment on that I put it up for sale after the accident. No, it was already for sale and on The Tire Store lot here in Wichita that sees a lot of traffic when it happened. After it happened it made me sick and brought it home. I hurt my shoulder and for along time could not get in it. The shoulder is much better but I thought while it is perfect now is the time to sell it. It is a lot of money. I don"t think Craigslist is the sales vehicle. The Mazda dealer and others want it but wont pay me enough so they can make a profit. I hope that it hits my reserve price or close so I can release it. I am a car collector. I am selling some of my classics as well. I dont have to sell it. I hate to say it but my age is staring me in the face. I have stared at the new design and just dont get it. In MHO the new design does not match this one"s look. A new one is probably $15,000 more for you that are doing the math and guessing at my reserve. The new ones have a warranty. These cars are tough and reliable. This one is a sightseer. Never been raced or abuse. It is a winner. Take care of it and you will be OK. This is my second one in this model. I had no problems with the other one either. On Sep-03-19 at 17:00:12 PDT, seller added the following information: added a few more photos to quiet the anxious hearts on the taillight. The Miata looks cool top up or down. I really like the satin roll bars. They show with the top up or down. Remember none smoker. The inside is like new. The White stiching on the floor mats are covered with clear mats to protect them.
