Vehicle description
2014 Dodge Charger 19,000 mi. Hemi police pursuit
My son and I bought this Charger in June of 2015. It was a wrecked Ga State Patrol car with 7600 miles. We wanted a good father/son project to rebuild. We replaced the right front frame rail then had it professionally jigged and welded at Atlanta Frame and Alignment. We then replaced the remaining damaged parts and had it inspected for the rebuilt title. We had it painted with a shade darker blue than original, and it looks great. A few months ago he had a minor fender bender which necessitated a new bumper, hood and fender, (no airbag deployment). We have already replaced those parts but not yet painted them.
On the inside it’s clean, and has the rubber floor instead of carpet. This makes it easier to clean and more quiet. We have a center console in it but found we like the column shift just as well as the floor shift. (We will include a floor shifter and cable with the car). Also included is a factory heated and cooled drink holder that has not been installed. We have added a subwoofer so the stereo now sounds much better than stock.
This car drives great, It has nearly new tires and cold A/C. The hood, L fender and bumper need to be painted.
The Pursuit package adds larger brakes and better suspension so it handles better than regular Chargers. On the highway it easily gets over 25 mpg. I always average 21+ with a mix of city/highway.
