Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 2013 Volvo XC60 is an original. This is offered for sale by the original owner. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details 2013 Volvo XC60 Platinum Trim Level Climate Package Technology Package Engine - Six cylinder injection, 3.2 liter, 240 horsepower All Wheel Drive SAFETY FEATURES Optional Thermal Imaging Night Vision - The car currently has a thermal-imaging night vision system built into it. It Is something I had put in as an aftermarket accessory. It can detect humans and animals down the road in the dark much sooner than you are able to see them and displays them on a screen. The system cost me $2,500 new (not including what I paid to have it installed). If you want it, it will add $1,500 to the price of the car for a grand total of $18,000. See how it works here. Adaptive Cruise Control (AAC) - AAC is great for long road trips. You just set the speed you want to go and the car will maintain that speed but will automatically slow down if a car in front of you slows down, and speed up again when needed. It can even automatically bring the car to a complete stop if the car in front of you stops. Emergency Braking - This car can automatically slam on the brakes in case you don't. I tested this feature and it works!. I put a big, empty cardboard box on the street, drove right towards it, and the car automatically braked without hitting it. This will work for pedestrians, larger animals as well as for other cars. Bending Headlights - The headlights automatically turn with the steering wheel. So if you are going around a curve, the lights will shine into the curve, instead of straight ahead, and you’ll see more. Front Camera - This camera looks to the left and right. For example, if you are trying to drive out onto a street but have limited visibility to your left and right to check for cross traffic, you can turn this camera out and see left and right without having to stick out into the intersection. Collision Warning - There will be warning sounds and lights if it looks like you are about to crash into something in order to remind you to step on the brakes. Distance Alert - Lights will turn on if you are following the car in front of you too closely, to remind you to back off. Lane Departure Warning - This feature will sound an alarm if you drift out of your lane, great for long trips Blind Spot Warning - A light will turn on by your left or right mirror to warn you that there is a car in your blnd spot. works here. Automatic High Beams - This car can automatically dim your lights when there is oncoming traffic and then put them back on when the car has passed. Xenon Projector Lights - The headlamps are xenon projector lights which are considered much better than reflector light. Auxiliary Driving Lights - I installed auxiliary, street-legal lights to brighten up the road at night. Driver Alertness Warning - The car uses a camera to monitor how well you are staying within your lane. If it detects that you are weaving too much, a warning (showing a cup of coffee) will appear suggesting that you take a break. Blinkers in Left and Right Mirrors - The left and right mirrors also double as blinkers to help improve safety. Heads-Up-Display Speedometer (HUD) - I installed this myself to make it easier to see what my speed is without having to look down at the speedometer. This makes for safer driving. Headlamp Washers - The headlamps get washed automatically every fifth time you activate the windshield washing system. This is especially important in winter with wet roads when the headlamps can get very dirty quickly, thus reducing how much light they can project. Automatic Windshield Wipers - Once on, this system can speed up or slow down the windshield wipers depending on how hard it is raining. This makes for safer driving since you don’t need to get distracted by constantly adjusting the windshield wipers while driving in the rain. OTHER FEATURES Sunroof - It has a power sunroof as well as a power shade for days when you don’t want too much sun shining through the sunroof. Alarm System - The car has an alarm system. When armed, there is a blinking red which I think really helps deter thieves. Automatic Tailgate - The tailgate can open automatically by pushing a button in the car, on the remote, or on the tailgate itself. Voice Control - Many features of the car can be used with voice control, like turning the heat up or down, navigation commands, volume, turning the heat or AC up or down, and much more. Navigation - The car has a CD-based navigation system which provides turn-by-turn guidance. Remote Start - You can start the engine from the remote. So if the car has ice on the windows, you can start it from inside your house to defrost it. Or if it’s hot out, you can start the car ahead of getting in to cool it down. Power Seats with Memory - So that different drivers can quickly dial in their preferred settings. Push Button Start -If you have your fob with you, you can start the car with the push of a button. Keyless Entry - The car doors will open automatically if you have a fob with you. Power Windows - I guess that’s pretty standard these days. Bumper Protector License Plate Frame - This will help you avoid damage while parking in tight situations. Leather Seats - In the front and back. Wood and leather steering wheel - The wood was an option I paid extra for. Beige Interior - The interior of the care is beige which I prefer over dark interiors. It looks nicer, but more importantly, it helps keep the car cooler when it’s parked under the sun. Automatic Folding Rear Headrests - The rear headrests can be folded down with the push of a button. This improves your visibility out of the rearview mirror. Folding Mirrors - The mirror can be set to fold whenever the car is turned off. Or you can fold them while driving if there’s a tight situation you need to squeeze through. Towing Hitch Receiver - I had this installed myself. It has a capacity of 4,500 lbs. max gross weight, and 675 lbs. max gross tongue weight. Garage Door Opener - The car has three buttons in the driver’s visor which can be programmed to operate things like garage door openers. Cargo Area Liner - This is a liner that protects the entire cargo area, like if you want to fill it with bags of soil or other dirty things. It attaches and detaches very easily with snaps. Lockable Roof Rack - Two Thule crossbars that can be locked in place. Regular Oil Changes - We always changed the oil as per the maintenance schedule. Oil Change Equipment - If you plan on doing oil changes yourself (not difficult at all), I will include a special container to drain oil into. Regularly Waxed - The car has been waxed every quarter since we’ve had it. Weatherproof mats - We put these into the car on day one. They are great for muddy shoes, snow, etc. Origins Carpets - We took the original carpets (and put in weatherproof mats) out of the car on the day we got it, so they are like new. Tires - are in good condition. Two FOBs - You will receive both original Fobs with the car (which would cost you $600 to replace if you lost one!) Heated Seats - The driver and passenger seats have heaters in them which warm up pretty quickly. Alexa - I installed Alexa in the car, so you can do with it whatever you do with Alexa at home. If you subscribe to a music service (like Amazon Music), you can listen to anything you want just by asking for it. CD Player and Radio - Pretty standard I guess. Built-in Sun Shield - I installed a sun shade that is attached to the right side of the windshield. When you want to shade the car, you just pull it from the right to the left of the windshield for instant shade. All Receipts - We have all receipts for every time the car went in for servicing, oil changes, etc. All Manuals - We have a complete set of manuals for the car and various accessories. Non-smoker, non-pet car - We never smoked or transported pets in this car, so no mystery odors. Insurance and plates needed for purchase Exterior Interior Download the Motors app
