I am a Vw enthusiast that owns a small car dealership in Nebraska. I sell 50+ Tdi"s a year and drive TDi"s daily.
This car was purchased out of a dealer auction up in Wisconsin back in the Winter. Gave it a detail ( it was a previous smoker car , more on that later ) It has some bumps and bruises. Including lower front bumper is cracked. Rear bumper has scuff on rear driver side. There is a dent in driver fender / driver front door. Scuff on the passenger rear quarter panel by rear passenger door.
The light colored interior has faired OK - it has some markings of getting dirty because its BEIGE. I had the car detailed at a professional Detailer when i got the car - it smelled like SMOKE. That smell has gotten better and after replacing the Cabin air filter ( which i have not done yet , it been sitting in the back of the car for months ) and time the smell will get better and disappear. Some people have not noticed the smell , others have. . So if smoke bothers you - this might not be the car for you. Of course we encourage in person inspections before placing a bid to be sure this car is a fit for you.
I have had this car listed for 2 months and LOTS of inquiring and test drives. But no buyers - i decided its time to let it go - so this NO RESEVER auction is happening. The buy it now will be $8000 ( yes like $3000 under NADA ) but once a bid is placed the buy it now will probably disappear. The car is listed for sale locally and nationally on various sites. So if someone shows up in person while this auction is still going on the auction COULD END AT ANY TIME WITH OUT NOTICE.
Ive driven this car around town and a trip or two to omaha with it. Drives fine. Everything works. Tires are OK.
In person inspection are encouraged. All used cars are sold AS IS - the VW Warranty it between the new owner and VW Dealership.

So please just be sure you have permission to buy a car in Nebraska. I dont see why a person couldnt fly in and drive this car home. Shipping is also an option at the BUYER EXPENSE.
