I purchased this car with a California Salvage Title and had it professionally repaired in Sacramento before moving to Texas. I changed the title to Texas Salvage. The damage was restricted to the front bumper area. No structural damage was done. The hood and bumper cover were damaged and were replaced with new parts from Volkswagen. I purchased the car in 2015. Since then it has been maintained by Volkswagen Austin, Luxury Auto Works Austin and German Auto Works Austin.
If you are looking for a low mileage, reliable, low cost, late model, fun car with lots of get up and go, then this Beetle Turbo is sporty fun without the price tag. It has a 2 litre turbocharged engine that makes 210HP and 207ft/lbs of torque. The automatic transmission is extremely smooth and helps it to achieve 24mpg city and 30mpg highway cycle.
The car has an amazing Fender audio system, sunroof and 18 inch alloys.
The car also has keyless start and entry. There are two genuine keys supplied.
This car was my daughter"s personal car, so I put the best tires on it and didn"t cut corners on maintenance. The low miles are because we only use it when we come across from Australia, which is about five times a year. The rest of the time the car is garaged with a battery maintainer.
I have a folder full of repair and maintenance receipts. Texas registration expires August 2019, as it has just been renewed.
The Texas title reads "Rebuilt Salvage. Issued by CA".
Paint and interior are like new. The car drives as new and is very tight. I encourage you to inspect the car yourself, or pay an Austin shop to have it professionally inspected.
Pickup is from Austin Texas, or I can arrange transport at the buyer"s expense.
