Vehicle description
Hello. My loss your gain. Looking to sell my 2013 FR-S. Car was bought new in 2013 off the showroom and was the vision of becoming full blown race car. I"ve started the project off to a great pace and upon and driving strong for a little over a year I never finished the whole project, however put a future owner off to a great start. Car has developed a knock unfortunately, however did not explode. Car was shut off to prevent any further damage. The engine is built with new forged parts that have just about 8000 miles on them. Even still, RB26 engines are becoming harder and harder to find.
You could part this out, or use this as needed for your build! The head has not been taken off to discover the issue yet, but in the event she needs a crank or a bearing I"m confident nothing destroyed beyond repair. Car has seen 10 pounds of boost. I will list the parts below, however note that I"m sure I"ll miss a few things. Must tow as the car is out of commission but rolls and steers. All electronics work and engine idled and boosted perfectly. The knock amounted to user error :( Really a beautiful car that with a little TLC and time one would have something remarkable and definitely one of a kind. Reading this ad you should know what your getting into. Check out the bottom end and fix what ever it needs. Probably a $1000-$4000 repair, then you have the GTR86! In all seriousness all of the headache and guesswork that you encounter initiating a swap is out of the way! This platform is almost ready to go back together, and I will ensure the future owner understands the wiring, it"s very neat and simple simple simple! I"m very picky and all parts and pieces have been handled with care and always neatly organized to be free of possible damage. Car assembles very simple like a lego kit. Lots of goodies. my ONLY reason for selling is due to starting a new project and life has lead me to a new path. Please, serious offers only. My price is negotiable. I thank you for your time.
