This is an excellent condition 2013 Ram 2500 Big Horn 4x4 Diesel Crew Cab truck. This is my personal truck which I special ordered from the Factory in 2013 with many special features not found on most trucks including a sunroof. If you are not aware, in 2013 Ram updated the 2500s with many upgrades including a much improved interior and drivetrain improvements making it quieter and better performing than the older models. This has been my favorite vehicle since I ordered it but I no longer need the extreme capability that this Cummins diesel offers, so it is time for someone else to enjoy. I have all the maintenance records for the truck including the original window sticker and clean title in my name.
This 2013 Ram 2500 is Cummins Diesel equipped with 4wd and the automatic transmission. It comes with a specially ordered lower rear gear ratio with limited slip differential. The lower gear allows for better fuel economy, I routinely get 20mpg on the highway. Some of the other special features include the sunroof, Alpine high end stereo system with cd player, foldable flat rear floor with in-floor storage boxes, rear view camera, heated seats and steering wheel, large 20 in wheels with full size spare, bed liner, running boards, and much more!
Again, this truck is in excellent condition both inside and out. The exterior paint is excellent, shines great, and people often comment that it looks like new. There are some very small rock chips here and there and only two extremely small dime sized dings on the entire exterior. There is a factory plastic bed liner in the bed that has never been removed and should protect the bed paint as well. The interior is also in excellent shape, with no tears in the cloth seats and this vehicle has never been smoked in, also the steering wheel leather is great, not ripped as you will see in many other trucks. I believe that this probably one of the best conditioned Ram of this year and mileage.
This truck also runs and drives perfectly, there is no hesitation in the engine or transmission which shifts perfectly. There are no engine warning lights on the dash. The truck has new HD Bilstein shocks on all four corners and rides better than new and drives straight, front tires are new with the rears at about 45% tread left. Most of the miles on the truck are from highway commuting and they will go up as I drive this truck daily.
As for maintenance, I have always planned to keep this truck forever and maintained it as such, changing all fluids regularly, and upgrading components as they need replacing. In the last 30,000 miles I have added new high performance Bilstein Shocks, new alignment, and I have had the entire turbo assembly with variable regulator replaced with an upgraded turbo that is one size bigger, as seen in red in engine photo. This turbo set-up works perfectly with the factory tune which I have not modified but it will allow for more power if a new tune is added. I have not modified the factory ecu or emissions systems at all, other than replacing sensors as needed, the DEF system is great at keeping the exhaust clean and not smelly.
Also, within the last 20,000 miles the rear differential has been serviced, fluid and seals replaced, new rear brakes installed, auto trans filter and fluid changed, EGR filter replaced, and new front tires have been installed. Routine Oil changes have also used synthetic oil as well. If you have any questions about maintenance please let me know as I have records for all service.
Lastly, this is an excellent truck which needs nothing to enjoy, but it is not new and does have some minor wear here and there, but as I stated before I think that this may be one of the best available from this year and model. This is not an abused work truck but instead my personal vehicle that I have enjoyed and cherished since new. Please let me know if you have any questions.
