Vehicle description
Beautiful Lincoln MKX for sale by owner Wife got the new model, this is been sitting on my yard for a few months, needs to go. The car is in very good condition, no smoke, no pets, no tears, no stains, no squeaks, no noises. This is a city car though, so I may have a ding here and there but the over all condition is very good.
The car got into a accident a couple of years ago, title got branded "rebuilt" My wife drove it to work for 2 years afterwards, we"ve driven it to Detroit and back a few times and everything seems to work nominally.
Blue Book says car is worth between $17800. Seeing how the title is branded I say it is worth about $10K. Remember the car has only 40000 miles. It has at least another 100,000 miles to go
Buyer is welcome to inspect vehicle or have it inspected as long as it does it on location. Car is selling as is.
We would be willing to accommodate out of state buyer by keeping it on the yard for up to 2 weeks and/or drive it to the carrier up to a mile, as long as the buyer understands that the car will be kept in my back yard ( never had any problems, but there is no guarantees )
In the interest of transparency let me note everything I noticed wrong with the car: The plastic piece that supports the headlamp is broken ( never replaced ). The mirror on the driver"s visor needs replacement. The light for the airbag comes and goes, so does the notification that the lever wasn"t push all the way to (P) park. All minor things, the way I see it, all related to its age and the fact that I know nothing about cars, so I don"t know how to fix them. But for the price, the car is a very good deal.
