Vehicle description
Vehicle History and Maintenance
This vehicle has never been in an accident and has a clean Carfax. I have included the full Carfax and Lexus Service History. All service at Lexus dealers was performed using Lexus master certified technicians. All work from Lexus of Greenwich, Lexus of Silver Spring, and Lexus of Rockville has been logged at drivers.lexus.com. Please note that while Lexus of Greenwich reports service and repairs to Carfax, Lexus of Silver Spring and Lexus of Rockville do not. While anyone can add their own reports of owner/independent maintenance on drivers.lexus.com, only entries submitted by a dealer will show up when someone adds the VIN to their own account and reviews the service history. I encourage anyone looking for a Lexus to review the vehicle"s VIN on drivers.lexus.com. I have full dealer records proving all dealer maintenance. I have included a copy of the full dealer history from drivers.lexus.com. Almost all maintenance has occurred at a Lexus dealer, except for one oil change by an ASE-certified independent mechanic. You can register on https:/ drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/ for a free account to see all service history logged at any Lexus dealer. The vehicle has been very well maintained, and I have always used OEM parts. This vehicle is equipped with a K40 radar and laser detector. This can be remotely enabled or disabled, volume adjusted, as well as programmed, from the cabin with the included remote. The vehicle is equipped with D4S HID projector low beams. I"ve upgraded the 9005 projector high beams and H11 fog lights with very bright CREE LED replacements. The fog lights put out even more light than the high beams. I"ve also upgraded the front turn signals to amber LEDs and the rear turn signals to red LEDs, as well as most of the interior and the reverse lamps to LEDs for improved performance of the backup camera at night. My LX 570 also has upgraded Trail Tailor 3/4” Steel front tow points, which offer better appearance and ground clearance than the standard tow points.
Though it is extremely capable, this vehicle has not been offroaded and has not been used for towing. I have the original included Lexus ball mount hitch which has never been used. The vehicle is capable of towing 7,000 pounds if you want to use it for towing, which is enough for a medium sized travel trailer or boat. The vehicle is equipped with low range, a locking center differential, turn assist, and crawl control. The vehicle is able to raise 2 inches for additional ground clearance when in high range and close to 3 inches of additional ground clearance when in low range. The vehicle is powered by a 5.7L V8 engine putting out 383 horsepower and 403 lb/ft of torque.
The 2013 model year features many changes over the 2011 (no 2012 model) LX 570. The 2013 Lexus LX 570 features a revised grille, bumpers, headlights, taillights, interior USB audio/upgrade, and a new split five spoke 20” wheel design with liquid graphite finish. The tires have approximately 80% tread remaining.
The Lexus LX 570 is heavily based on the Toyota Land Cruiser. The frame and body are the same between the LC and LX, but with different headlights, taillights, bumper covers, and fenders. The LX 570 comes from the factory with a height-adjustable suspension also used on the top-spec Land Cruiser in most of the world (set aside $4-5k for parts and labor if you want to have a shop to install lifted suspension components on a Land Cruiser), more sound insulation, higher quality perforated leather, and a better stereo (especially when equipped with the upgraded Mark Levinson 19 speaker surround stereo, which this has). The vehicle is equipped with a cool box in the center console that gets nicely cold. The frame is an improved version of the frame that comes on the Tundra. It is 20% shorter in length for a better breakover angle and improved rigidity. Unlike the open C-channel that comes with the Tundra, it is a fully boxed frame for better rigidity. The Tundra was able to tow the Space Shuttle at low speed, so you should be good. The vehicle is equipped with a power folding 3rd row seat for a seating capacity of up to 8 people, and the seats can be easily removed (remove covers, 4 bolts and a single connector on each side) if you want even more room in the cargo area. See here: https:/ www.clublexus.com/forums/lx-3rd-gen-2008-present/646138-lx-570-3rd-row-seating-removal.html In addition to height control, the hydraulic suspension also allows you to adjust between normal, sport, and comfort ride. The vehicle rides incredibly smooth and quiet in comfort mode. The original MSRP of this Lexus LX 570 is $90,368. It includes $7,943 in options, including rear seat entertainment, intuitive park assist with front facing and passenger mirror camera, luxury package with semi-aniline perforated leather interior, heated and ventilated seats for the front and heated seats for the second row, a center console mounted cool box, credit card key, a $2,350 Mark Levinson 19 speaker Surround Sound Audio System, Glass Breakage Sensors, and Remote Start.
Here is the complete service log. At 6,009 miles, the vehicle"s oil and filter was changed at Lexus of Greenwich. At 12,766 miles, the vehicle"s oil and filter was changed at Lexus of Greenwich. At 14,343 miles, the vehicle"s windshield was replaced with an OEM Lexus windshield at Lexus of Greenwich. The windshield is in good condition and is 100% OEM glass, as are the rest of the windows and rear windshield. At 18,884 miles, the vehicle"s oil and filter was changed at Lexus of Greenwich. The engine air filter was also changed. At 24,456 miles, the vehicle"s oil and filter was changed at Lexus of Greenwich. The vehicle received a 4-wheel alignment at this time and the tires were replaced. At 28,720 miles, the vehicle had an oil and filter change, and the rear rotors and brake pads were replaced with new pads and rotors. The front brake rotors were machined and the front pads were replaced. At 33,811 miles, I performed the following services: Full automotive undercoating Drain and fill rear differential oil with new Toyota gear oil; 4 quarts to capacity Replaced original vehicle battery with new Duracell Group 27F battery Replace engine air filter At 33,853 miles, the following services were performed by Lexus of Silver Spring: Transfer case oil replaced Front differential oil replaced Factory coolant fill replaced Oil and filter changed While these gear oils do not need to be replaced until 60,000 miles, I did them at 34k because it is good to change out these factory fills and the magnetic drain plugs can be cleared of any residual metal particles. I"ve tried to be as proactive as possible with having clean fluids and oils in the vehicle, which is why I also replaced the coolant factory fill at this time with new coolant. At 34,948 miles, I had a few things addressed. I noticed that the driver"s side was slightly lower than the passenger side. I noted this to the master certified Lexus technician who recalibrated it back to normal. The A/C was not blowing cold enough, so at this time, freon was added to the air conditioning system. The Air Conditioning has worked flawlessly since. The passenger seatback tilt function was also fixed. At 41,579 miles, the oil and filter were changed by Lexus of Rockville. The brake fluid was also replaced with new fluid. I also replaced the engine air filter at this time. At 45,300 miles, I replaced the power steering fluid with new fluid, which is Toyota ATF. At 46,721 miles, I had the engine oil and filter replaced by an ASE certified independent Mechanic. At 52,524 miles, I noticed the rear AHC line leaking. I had the line and all AHC suspension fluid replaced by Lexus of Rockville. I had the engine oil and filter changed at this time. I also replaced both the rear brake pads and the rotors. At 57,434 miles, I replaced the engine oil and filter at Lexus of Silver Spring. I also had the front brake pads replaced at this time. I replaced the wiper blades, engine air filter, and the cabin air filter with a Bosch HEPA filter. I"ve tried to maintain this vehicle as meticulously as possible. I have engaged low range and the locking center differential every few months to keep the systems lubricated. I have included a video of the vehicle showing the hydraulic suspension in normal and high modes, as well as a driving video. Everything on the vehicle works 100%! Thank you for your interest.
