Vehicle description
If you are the typical, unskilled, not really engaged, texting, distracted, coffee-slurping, air-headed driver; DON"T BUY THIS CAR. . save your money and shop for a cheaper "transportation appliance".
But just maybe you are a real driver. You demand acceleration and razor sharp reflexes over multi-button "infotainment" technical gadgets. Sometimes you leave the stereo off because a sweet, high-revving engine is your preferred soundtrack. The thought of owning a self-driving car makes you physically ill. You don"t need juvenile plastic wings or fake intake/exhaust ports to impress neighborhood kids. And your current vehicle is boring you to death.
If so. .please read on.
This privately owned, garage kept sport coupe has 17,600 (!) actual miles on the clock. One mature adult driver/owner since new. Nothing but top tier premium gasoline and synthetic oil since day 1. Driven responsibly - never raced or bounced off the rev limiter. I have all service receipts and keep meticulous maintenance records. PROFESSIONALLY REFINISHED HOOD ELIMINATED THE STONE CHIP RASH COMMON TO LATE-MODEL HONDA VEHICLES. No dings or paint scratches. All glass is flawless. Clutch is perfection; slick 6-speed yields smooth and effortless 2-finger shifts. Gear oil/clutch fluid has been changed. Brake system flushed 3 months ago. Car stops perfectly with little pedal effort, always tracks absolutely straight. No smoke or drips. This Si is stock and unmolested, with the only changes from the showroom model being: 1) A NAPA premium battery, (the old one expired after I failed to keep it on the battery tender for 1 winter, 2) Nokian WR G3 V-rated All-Weather Performance tires, (I hated the OE squirelly traction in the wet) and 3) professionally installed window tint from Quality Tint, (to spare my old hide and the car"s interior from UV damage). The car has seen only two short drives in the snow and was undercarriage washed. Regularly cleaned and polished with Meguiar products and microfiber cloth. Has never seen the inside of a "slap, beat and scratch" automatic carwash. Nobody has ever smoked, eaten, or consumed any beverage but water inside the car - it still smells new. No kids or pets - and the back seat has never been used. The original OEM black (with red embroidered Si) cloth mats are still in the dealership plastic bag - Honda all-weather floormats were installed before I took delivery.
This 9th generation Civic Si represents the final chapter of the TRUE Si (Sport Injected) legacy, and many drivers prefer it over the newer model. It has the larger NORMALLY ASPIRATED 2.4 liter engine and VTEC. It also has a genuine MECHANICAL limited slip differential that pulls you through fast or slippery curves without drama. Why spend the extra $$$ to buy new? All I"ve done is break this one in for the next fortunate owner! Ready to enjoy as-is for many years to come; or use as the perfect foundation for that fire-breathing 600hp sleeper project - and bank the savings. But I know I will regret selling this quick, practical - yet sexy sport coupe the moment you drive it away. Reason for sale: my left knee is going, so I"m forced to switch to an automatic.
The car will come with all original books/manuals, the (still unused) extra keys. .and the original window sticker. I also have the CarFax 1-Owner report with Buyback Protection in hand.
And yes, you and I know you can buy one with more miles - or in worse condition - or with a questionable pedigree - for less money. If you think the price is too high, check it (with this mileage in"very good" condition) at kbb.com. And yes - if you"re reading this, it"s still for sale.
The car is currently garaged in western Michigan, but is available to legitimate buyers nationwide.
