Vehicle description
2013 Ferrari California 30. (note: for 2013-2014 the Cali got a 30 HP increase and lost 30 kg"s, thus the "30" designation and why 2010-2012 Cali"s are a fair amount cheaper) Purchased the car 6/2019. The California is a sometimes under rated car. I"ve owned quite a few Ferraris and this one hasn"t let us down. Fun, fast, comfortable, easy to drive and get along with. I will do my best to describe everything I can think of as I would rather over describe.
Highlights: nice complete service records going back to day one. Has had consistent and thorough services. It is due for an annual service (we can discuss that, I"m willing to have it serviced at my expense if sold at buy it now price). Runs and drives perfectly, everything works as it should. I had the tail lights modified back to how they were intended to be from the factory. The large round upper lights are now the brake lights. (At the last minute before importing began the EPA made Ferrari move the brake lights to the lower part of the bumper where nobody looks as the larger uppers are on the trunk lid that moves, which is not allowed. Very dangerous imo as they are low and dim and can barely be seen).
Positives: Exterior is near flawless. The paint has some small stone chips on the nose, hood and rockers. Nothing particularly large enough to get a good picture of. The wheels are all perfect, no scuffs, etc. Tires look to be good as well, we replaced the fronts a few thousand miles ago. Engine starts and runs strong, these were the exact same engine as the F430. I"d give the exterior an 8.7-9.0 rating, the stone chips being really the only flaws.
Interior is in excellent condition also. Has power heated Daytona seats, back up cam and sensors. Never smoked in, smells like wonderful Ferrari leather. I"d give the interior an 8.5-9.00. A few of the buttons such as the "R" reverse button have some wear as is typical in Ferraris and Maseratis.
Negatives: Every car has them, this one too. The front nose of the car was painted by the previous owner in what was told to me was a low speed bump into the back of a car in a parking lot. I have a very picky eye and cannot see it. It does show on the carfax, no sense in being dishonest. It never bothered me and again, I"m super picky. The leather on the middle gauge luster has some splits (shown in pic). There is a tiny split behind the drivers side headrest, maybe 1/2" long. The center speaker crackles and may need replacement if you"re any kind of audiophile. The factory audio unit was not one of the car"s strong points.
Overall/Details: I welcome any in person inspections or PPI"s. I would be honestly surprised if the first serious buyer didn"t take the car, it"s that nice imo. It has a clear title in hand (AZ has electronic title, I will get a paper copy). Car comes with 2 keys, all books, wind deflector, battery tender and car cover. I"m happy to send more pics, videos, do a walk around on facetime, etc. I"ve bought and sold many cars, motorcycles and watches on ebay and never once was anyone disappointed. I have priced the car $10-20k less than others I have seen with similar miles, color, etc to allow for the paintwork. I will help meet a truck if you are going to ship the car, expense is that of the buyer.
