Below is my summary as an owner since September of 2018, later on I have a description written from the previous owner to highlight the history of the X5M.
Car has been well maintained for its entire life. X5M has catted downpipes, VELOS tune and PTP turbo blankets, pulls very hard and runs great! Brake pads have plenty of life and have ceramic pads installed which dust less than OE.

Completed oil change Replaced air filters Coils Spark plugs Battery was done about 5k miles Takata Airbag recall was completed
Current issues: Small chip on passenger side lower splitter from road debris on highway. Small seepage from transfercase, likely a small washer that needs to be replaced Guibo will also need replacement. Front driver seat needs to calibrated (meaning, it has to be moved through front to back so the vehicle knows where the seat is) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Unique opportunity to purchase an enthusiast maintained, well optioned, rare color combination E70 X5M. 2013 was the final model year for the E70 chassis in M trim and this is one of the cleanest examples you"ll likely find. I purchased this car off BMW lease from a third party dealer whom acquired it in FL. BMW only built 3,335 (approx.) total E70 X5M"s for the US market from 2010-2013 and this one happens to be one of the more rare color combinations 1 out of a total of 126 Melbourne Red Metallic over black, specifically 1 out of 20 with this particular interior configuration. I have attached the reference of production detail as a photo.
After purchase the car was immediately sent to a local high end body shop for detail work. These cars are known for collecting their fair share of road rash due to the sticky wide tires and stance, I had all issues addressed. This vehicle has not been in any accidents, only cosmetic work. Rockers, fender flares, bumper, hood and fenders are all susceptible to rock damage on these cars, look it up there are plenty of documented cases on the forums. I paid for all of this work out of pocket and would be happy to share the detailed invoice with interested buyers. The paint work was protected shortly thereafter with 3M Pro Series PPF film. This film has done an excellent job of keeping the paint in great shape, although some chips did occur on the rear arches and rear of the rocker panel during the cure time before film application. They are fairly unnoticeable under the film. I am a 3M factory certified Pro Series PPF installer and will install a fresh front-end and rear quarter guards if my asking price is met. If not, fresh PPF can be included in the deal for an extra cost if interested.
During ownership the following items have been replaced. Most are normal items that tend to need attention at the 50,000 mile mark on these cars and most turbo BMW"s for that matter:
Battery replaced and registered. 3/2017, 52,220 miles: BMW OEM AGM Battery Brake Pads Replaced with low-dust Carbon Pads (Powerstop) 2/2017, 51,600 miles. Bosh Starter Installed 9/2017 57,140 miles. L&R Filtered Airducts and BMW OEM Updated Gaskets 9/2017 56,800 Waterpump, OEM thermostat and Belt 9/2017 56,800 Intercooler Feed Charge Pipe & Diverter valves OEM 9/2017 56,800 CCV Tubing 9/2017 56,800 Auxillary Cooling Pump for Turbos 10/2017 57,950 Turbo Pressure Converter Solenoids 6/2018 63,941
All recalls are up to date, including a front driveshaft replacement that was completed 10/2017.
A detailed CarFax report from when I purchased is available, showing all dealer performed maintenance since new. After my acquisition, maintenance has been performed at intervals much shorter than OEM recommendation (e.g. 5,000 mile oil changes). A full list of this maintenance detailing dates and mileage is available as well. All fluids, including differentials, transmission and all active suspension and steering hydraulic fluids have been changed multiple times. I have put a considerable amount of time and money into making sure that the car has had all issues addressed and all is in top working condition. In addition to maintenance bordering on obsessive, the following extras have been installed and are included:
A Curt 2" hitch receiver was installed during the completion of the paint work. I had them trim the bumper as cleanly as possible and as you can tell from the pictures it is quite unobtrusive when compared to the OEM option. A Teknosha Zero Contact, no-cut wiring adapter has been added for 4-pin connections. This hitch has been used only a few times to tow a Waverunner and trailer (less than 1,000 lbs) and mount a bike carrier. A full Dinan Stage 1 suspension kit (including supplemental ride kit) was installed along with OEM molded stone guard, front and rear. The Dinan suspension results in around a 1" lower stance and allows the car to pull over 1g in lateral grip, yet rides as smoothly as the factory suspension. Dinan is the only suspension kit warrantied by BMW for not only part performance, but also ride comfort. 12mm (front) and 20mm (rear) wheel spacers are installed to push the wheels out into better alignment with the stone guards and give the car a more aggressive stance. A P3 vent mount integrated digital boost gauge is installed along with a Dinan boost adapter to measure actual boost at the right intercooler MAP sensor.
A new set of Falken Azenis FK510 Ultra High Performance Summer Tires were installed spring of 2018 and have only a few thousand miles on them. Additionally a set of Nitto NT90 Winter Tires will be included. I purchased this set new when I took delivery of the vehicle and they have approximately 60% tread-life left or an estimated 2 seasons.
Both keys, all books, original window sticker and two-sets of OEM floor mats (winter, carpet) are included. A lien is present on the car and the title is being held by my local credit union. This will be satisfied with the purchase and the new purchaser will simply need to direct the funds to be issued to the bank and then title will then be released and signed off on. I have completed many sales and this is a generally simple process.
My wife and I enjoy enthusiast cars and generally keep them 2-3 years. Both of us work out of our home and don"t commute to an office, so this has not seen regular commute traffic since our acquisition and remains parked in our climate controlled garage more than it is driven. The M is an awesome machine, and those looking likely know, but it"s time to make room for the next one. This is not a fire sale. I am not desperate to sell, nor to I want it to go to someone who will not appreciate it. Low-ball offers will be automatically declined.
