Vehicle description

The Prius V Hoof Girl farrier work truck is finally for sale. This is a Prius V Two (meaning the basic trim level).
The good: No oil or fluid leaks. Does not burn oil. Engine runs perfect. Transmission is super smooth. Brakes stop hard. Everything works. Cold AC, Hot heat, loud horn, stereo and dorky prius dashboard all good. Still gets 42MPG. Tracks straight on the road and tires are in good shape. Has spare tire donut.
Comes with Weather Tech front and rear and cargo mats. Includes pristine original Toyota floor mats and cargo carpet! Bonus storage space in the rear cargo area (5 cu feet or so). Hybrid battery still drives it around in EV mode. New 12V battery from Autozone.
NO RUST! NO FLOODS! Comes with two new cabin air filters to reduce the spread of the virus.
The bad: It has an ABS problem and I"ll be specific. The master cylinder leaks internally back to the fluid reservoir when the brake pedal is not being pushed. It never loses fluid or braking ability, but the accumulator pump turns on and off frequently and sets an ABS trouble code of "excessive leakage". The master cylinder doesn"t leak when the pedal is depressed to stop the car though. Eventually the accumulator pump could wear out, but keep in mind that the accumulator pump is designed to run very frequently since Prius doesn"t have a vacuum booster. It could last forever or many years. Pumps are cheap but master cylinders including labor are ridiculously expensive. Good DIY project.
The body is ugly. The paint is peeling off of the front bumper skin. The bumper skin was replaced when it got torn off when a corner was snagged by another vehicle. There is a small hole in the rear bumper. There is a dent in the rear bumper passenger side. The driver side rear door has some primer on it where the paint was scratched up. There are lots of scratches and dings - its a beater and I didn"t even wash it for photos. A tail light has a crack in the lens but otherwise still working. Missing the plastic wheel well liner passenger front - meh.
The interior is dirty. I gave it an intermediate cleaning (hours of work) but it was a work truck for my wife the horse farrier. The interior will have a reminiscent smell of majestic horses galloping through pastures and I might have missed some cookie crumbs.
Car has expired TX registration and I need to sell it soon. Please hurry. Woodlands TX area.
