2012 MINI Cooper JCW Hardtop (John Cooper Works) R56 $13,100 obo Please be reasonable with offers. It’s a rare car/combo. This is the most fun car I’ve ever owned. It’s fast, handles like a go-kart, and returns 30+ mpg (combined). It’s a great driving experience. I’m bummed about selling the car, as I love it and it took me quite a while to find this combination. My family needs are changing though. If you’re not familiar, the JCW is the sports car version of the MINI. This car is absolutely loaded with options. The details: · 93k miles · Pennsylvania inspection is good through 10/19 · Clean title, in hand (no accident or damage history) · 2-door, 4-seat, front wheel drive · 6-speed Getrag manual transmission · Not modified at all (other than the stripes and tint) · MINI Connected package: o Navigation o Real time traffic o MINI Connected o Bluetooth and USB/ipod connection o Center armrest o Smartphone integration · Cold weather package: o Heated front seats (3 settings, gets very hot) o Heated mirrors and washer jets o Power folding mirrors · Premium package: o Alarm system o Keyless entry and pushbutton start (key can stay in your bag/pocket) o Chrome line interior o Auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors o Rain-sensing wipers and auto headlamps o Auto climate control · Technology package: o Rear parking sensors o The Harmon-Kardon sound system · A gorgeous black interior with red trim (big reason I bought this one). This includes red stitching around the wheel, e-brake, and gearshift · Bi-Xenon adaptive lights (they follow the road with your steering) · Dual sunroofs (MINI calls it a panoramic roof) · Ambient interior lighting (you can scroll through about a dozen colors) · Full set of Weathertech mats · JCW front floor mats · Small/sport antenna · Tire pressure sensors · Built-in/programmable garage door opener · Rear seats fold-down to leave a flat, carpeted surface from the front seats to hatch. It’s awesome for getting groceries or transporting anything. · Push button on/off · 2 keys (I just replaced both batteries) · All manuals/paperwork that came with the car new I added: · Matte black center stripes · Tinted windows (35% and legal in PA) It needs: · The rear MINI badge is faded. I ordered another one, but don’t have it yet. It will be on shortly. The differences between a Cooper S and JCW aren’t always obvious, but include (on this car at least): · 1.6 liter turbocharged engine · Huge Brembo brakes with red calipers (amazing brakes on this car) · The exterior aero kit with fog lights · Light 17” alloy JCW wheels · The JCW-tuned ECU with overboost function · Sport suspension with dynamic traction control o 3 selectable driving modes to help with performance + traction · Lightened crankshaft · Reinforced pistons · Limited-slip differential · Larger, twin exhaust in the middle of the bumper · JCW door sills and badges
Maintenance while I owned it (MINI has records of everything before too): · Replaced the thermostat housing 2 years ago · Always used factory recommended synthetic oil · I replaced all of the spark plugs in the spring of ‘18 · 4 new tires in the spring of ‘18 · The clutch was replaced in the spring of ‘18 · Brake pads were replaced in December of ‘17 · The 2 high-pressure fuel pumps were replaced in the spring of ‘18 The car was purchased new with a 5-year service plan, so it was always well-maintained at MINI dealers.
