Vehicle Details Mini Cooper R58 Coupe - 1 Owner - Special Ordered by me and took possession on Jan 2, 2012. This a standard Coupe with the John Cooper Works Package. I purchased as a fun commuter car and wanted better gas mileage of non-turbo engine. 192k miles are nearly all highway during my commute 9 days a month from Kentucky to Nashville. I retired and no longer commute and car is now rarely driven and also own an S convert. The positives: Well taken care of 1 owner, tires great, new battery about 2 month ago, thermostat housing apx 3yrs ago.6 speed manual because real sports cars are manual shift. Carbon black sport seats, center arm rest, fluid silver interior trim, white turn-signal lights, JCW Package to include Dynamic Traction Control. Known issues: When I replaced battery a couple months ago, foot well module has given me issues, at times the right turn signal refuses to work, needs re-programmed I guess. Blower for heat and A/C only works on high, this has been repaired twice by dealer, gave up on a 3rd time. Small ding in front of passenger rear wheel well, garage cabinet door incident. Drivers side marker light housing came loose driving down interstate, broke lens and marred the paint, see photos. Brake light is always on because the brake liner sensors were not replaced last brake job, they constantly do not work correctly (in my opinion) and a waste of money to fix. Gas door cover missing, cracked and came off one day, easy fix. Jan 2018: Hit a large racoon square to the middle front on I-65, resulted in new front spoiler, radiator, bumper cover etc. repairs by a GEICO certified shop. I have all paperwork from repair. Please make reasonable offers, to be blunt, selling because I rarely drive, not because I have to. * RELISTED - Buyer made offer - I accepted - then they decided within an hour of my accepting this was not what they really wanted and requested to cancel.
