Vehicle description
Solid, clean, reliable, economical, fun, well-cared for Mazda6. Regularly serviced with full synthetic oil (have service records). 177,XXX miles. 2 new Goodyear tires at 175,351; the other two tires just slightly older (can"t find that receipt). Major 100K service at 111,105 including replacing v-belt, plugs, cabin filter, O2 sensors, fuel ratio sensor. New, 5-year battery plus rear brakes and rotors at 152,210 on 8/27/19. New windshield and fresh shampoo/detail less than 20 miles ago. Thorough inspection at Auburn Autovantage included in the pictures showing almost everything rated as good. Airbags were replaced (Tanaka Recall) 4/3/18. Air conditioner works great -verified at 38 degrees. Heater works great as well. Car never runs the slightest bit hot. Registered through June 2021.
Flaws:
1) less than once out of a hundred tries, when starting the car, it"ll act like the battery is dead. Then, after 5 to 10seconds, will start right up. Sometimes this causes all the stereo presets to reset. Had this inspected, and they could find no issue in the electrical; terminal and cables all look fine; they could not duplicate the problem. More of a nuisance than anything.
2) shimmies a little when stopping at highway speed (doesn"t present at in-town speeds). Might be a rotor.
3) right front speaker is fuzzy
4) paint is average for its age - some scuffs and scratches and a few door dings. Look at the pictures for the overall appearance- it isn"t too bad.
The KBB range for private party sale is $3,252 to$5,813. Starting well below high end price due to the flaws listed. Clean title in hand. I can drive the car to somewhere within about an hour of Auburn, Sacramento, Roseville, etc. Otherwise, feel free to arrange shipping or pick up.
