“This Elantra is ready to serve you well, to 200,000 miles or beyond. After 6 years of course it has some small nicks. No rust (SoCal car). There are spots on some seats that should clean up easily (I don't have the time). They are comfortable and easy to adjust. AM /FM / CD / Sirius / Aux sound system all works well. Overall very good condition.”

Vehicle description

Dependable and sporty. Comfortable and roomy. Fast but gets good gas mileage. Safe and well-designed. This car is a great combination of all those things. It has served my wife very well and should go to 200,000 miles. Well-maintained (oil changes etc). Seats up to 5. Very large trunk (shown with PA system in it), plus split back seats can fold down for very long things / even more room. Additional features: Can easily use transmission as manual if you like, to downshift etc. Power door locks and mirrors. Two wireless key fobs. Aux and USB inputs for your phone / music / MP3. Nice tight turning radius. Handles well and feels sporty. Clear Carfax report and title (no accidents etc). An easy car to own and operate. A great car for people of all ages. (We are in Murrieta, which is near Temecula. It is 70 minutes from LA, 60 minutes from San Diego, 30 minutes from Palm Springs and 20 minutes from Riverside. If you like I can drive it to you after getting payment.)
Motor Trend review (4 out of 5 stars) includes. .The Elantra’s redesign featured a heaping helping of Hyundai’s new design language, lending it a more upscale and head-turning look than before. Hyundai says the new design language “considers the interplay of wind with rigid surfaces to create the illusion of constant motion.” Hyundai made sure all trim levels on the Elantra come with the automaker’s latest safety tech standard, including traction and stability control, plus six airbags. The Elantra’s 1.8-liter engine produces a class-competitive 148 horsepower and an EPA rating of 29 mpg city and 40 mpg highway for a combined 33 mpg. Automatic transmission-equipped Elantras gain an ActiveECO System, new steering calibration, and dual-note horn for improved sound. The Elantra’s interior is comfortable and offers styling similar to other newer Hyundai models, such as its two-binnacle instrument cluster. Climate control is simple and straightforward. Air bags keep you safe: dual front, front seat-mounted side-impact, and front and rear side curtain airbags.
