Our History Founded in 1985 by President Jim Rys, House of Trucks was created to fill a niche in the trucking industry. Together with the late Vice-President, Jerry Gerber, the focus was to provide late model, low mileage reconditioned tractors most with factory or extended warranties. The tractors would look and run like brand-new, but be offered at lower, more affordable prices. Our main focus would be late model low mileage used trucks. Today, House of Trucks is the Midwest’s largest independent used truck dealer with a national customer base. House of Trucks has expanded recently, increasing the size of our sales staff, finance department, remarketing department, and shop. We have also expanded our inventory options to include New MAC Trailers.
