Vehicle description
When I do any online purchase I always try to find the best photos and descriptions, and that is what I am going to attempt here on this beautiful 2012 Camaro LS. Please contact me, I have over 100 pictures, only allowed 24.
The Camaro is a V6, automatic, with all leather interior. It is black on black with a splash of red. I have owned the car for 6 fun years. It only had one owner before me and it is a Florida car, from the moment it left the showroom to me currently listing it.
Clean CarFax, No Accidents, Clean Title, Clean Car. Title in hand, ready to go.
For a V6 you’re getting close to V8 performance, BUT not V8 MPG. On premium gas I get over 400 MPG on highway trips. The miles are high. It has 159,777 miles, and I’m not going to tell you some BS story like it was all light highway miles. It’s a Camaro, I spent thousands of dollars on performance upgrades and I drove this car the way it was designed to be driven.
Now, for as far as the thousands of dollars I’ve spent on this car, I do not expect to get as much as I paid returned, however the upgrades will be reflected in the asking price. I think it’s reasonable to go over book value for all the upgrades.
Upgrades done: Upgraded Wheels (professionally painted black) Larger rear for more muscle car profile: Rear: 275/40/ZR20 106Y Front: 245/45/ZR20 103Y Performance Z tires, plenty of life on all 4 Just spent $600 on complete tune up, all fluids flushed, plugs, filters, & front breaks and front rotors replaced Dealer installed factory fog lights (came without) Blacked out front grill All chrome emblems where replaced with black emblems Brake calipers all professionally painted red Rear tail lights black out kit K&N Cold Air Intake Upgraded Anti-Sway Bar, (strut bar, and it handles great) New horn & complete fuse panel replaced (was issue with horn) Upgraded dual exhaust (sounds great, lot’s of complements) All Lloyd’s carpets, Torch Red, with Camaro logo on all of them, including cargo carpet Dealer replaced factory leather steering wheel with red stitching and full controls Upgraded leather shifting knob with red stitching Upgraded emergency break cover, leather with red stitching Dealer installed factory USB & Audio Jack connection located inside center console, (came without) I retro fitted a few pieces of red trim from a 1969 Camaro and customized the center console lid Embroider Camaro seat belt pads Plenty of accessories power with a splitter installed under the center of dashboard Rear Louver (less than a year old, $500 part) Factory cargo net Metal locking fuel door with Camaro logo W/ 2 Keys 3 Key Fobs & 3 Keys (One of the key fobs is cut, but I never had it programmed, it’s brand new)
I left a few stickers and tools that were mounted on the vehicle. I’ll leave up to new owner to remove or keep. Now that we have the good out there, let’s go over the bad……not really bad, but definitely need to mention. The car, while I owned it was never garaged and I live in Florida. The paint overall is in good shape and it shines up great, but you better believe it has plenty of chips, scratches, pings, and wear from the sun. Touch up job from any auto body place should have looking new. The wheels need to be touched up here and there but again, minor job. From like 10 feet away it looks great, just like my ex gf.
Far as the inside goes, for its age, it’s great. Remember this is not a new car; this vehicle is high miles and 9 years old. Front driver’s seat has typically ware, no holes or rips or tears, just ware. Front passenger seat great condition. Rear seats have a very small puncture that was repaired, and other than that, in perfect shape, don’t think they were ever used.
As far as mechanical goes, you’re more than welcomed to bring a mechanic to check it out, or if you come with cash in hand, we can bring it to a local shop no more that 10 minutes from me. It had extended warranty till it hit 125,000 miles and I didn’t ever use it. As far as vehicles go, this one was the most reliable car I’ve ever owned - PERIOD. Engine and transmission are superman strong. Over the years it was mostly maintenance and performance upgrades. That being said, I can tell you the AC is starting to lose some of its chill, and the motor mounts are going to need to eventually be replaced, everything else strong.
The under carpet is all in perfect condition, it always had floor mats, same for the cargo area as well, perfect. The tint is done. It needs to be re-tinted. You might be able to live with it for a while, but it had my OCD triggered. Never smoked in, and while I owned it, never ate it. Drinks only! Smell like a fresh, cleaned, new car.
Included in the sale is the original air intake, original exhaust, original mats, and shift knob. I’m also including all the service records and part upgrade records since I’ve owned it.
Recently married and we upgraded in size to an SUV. I am just listing this car now, mid-July. I have NO REASON to sell this car in a rush. At this stage of the game I am FIRM on my price. Also this is an “AS-IS” sale. In GOD we trust ALL OTHER PAY CASH. Shipping is NOT available on this car. In person cash in hand sale only please. With that said, I’m sure a lot of people reading will ignore this: DO NOT SEND OFFERS THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS BELOW ASKING PRICE. All junk offers will be instantly ignored & deleted.
With a little TLC and understanding of what you’re purchasing, I believe this will be an amazing car for the next owner.
