This 2012 Acura TL Advance is a True Collector Car! Still Holds the original Hero 2 Sticker from being used in the first Avengers Movie! This SHIELD TL was custom built for the Avengers movie by Cinema Vehicle Services. There were only 5 Made and some were destroyed in the filming of the movie. Not only was this Acura loaded with options and one of the first from the factory that year, it also was equipped with SHIELD specific options. You might have seen this vehicle for sale years ago on Ebay Motors, and now it is ready for the true Collector and his stable. Many Comic Book Fans and Movie Buffs will recognize the vehicle immediately.The Cop PartsThe Modifications or the Avengers Movie were performed by Cinema Vehicle Services (CVS), a North Hollywood company that specializes in building cars for Movie Stardom. CVS was tasked with modifying 5 brand new TL"s fro their appearance in The Avengers. The company quickly realized there was not a lot of readily available options to modify the TL"s for their Law Enforcement role in the movie. Each Acura was stripped down, all panels removed and painted flat black using PPG paint over a a scuffed Acura Factory finish. Unusual for onscreen cars, that included all door jams, trunk, and under hood of four of the 5 cars. All 5 movie cars were then fitted with Acura Diamond Cut 19" wheels and fitted with 245/35R19 Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. The tires have been upgraded to Michelin Pilot Sport tires since sold. The front push bar came from Go Rhino made for Police Impala models and was cut down and modified by CVS, and then widened to show the Acura grill and Logo. CVS also went to Whelen Engineering and modified inner edge LED emergency lighting in the front windshield. They also shaved and modified Impala housings for the contour of the Acura glass. Then they also did the same for the rear back inner glass emergency lights. With the addition of the LED light son the push bar the car looks mean! Only changes we have made to vehicle since filming has been addition of rear seatbelts (They were cut for filming equipment). Vehicle airbag recall fixed by Acura. New front brakes, and upgraded Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around. One last add was a light window tint all the way around.This is one wicked Acura that is as close to driving on film as possible!
