First off I have to say that I am the original owner of this vehicle. If you are looking at this truck I am sure you know what you are looking at and for. This truck is very well maintained, it has been my baby, the first new vehicle I ever bought and it was always treated right. I have great memories with this FJ, I"ve been and seen beautiful places and it has never once let me down getting there. The ONLY reason why I am even considering selling this is because I now have 2 kids and it just isn"t 100% what I need but still will do the job.
The miles on the vehicle are pretty much all highway miles, I commute to work and then use this as a weekend warrior doing mini vacations always without a hiccup. Like I said, it"s time to see if someone else can enjoy this as much as I have and let it take you anywhere you want to go and get you to all your unforgettable experiences.
Besides being an absolute tank, it is the Trail Teams edition, blacked out parts, A-trac, Rear Locker, small running board step assists, upgraded suspension - which was upgraded to a 3"" Toytec Ultimate Lift and I also replaced the shocks this year on them. Light Racing upper control arms to give more space for tires and ensure proper alignment. Body mount chop was also performed so there is no running and extra clearance. This truck rides flawless. I did minor cosmetic upgrades, blacked out tail lights and turn signals. LED interior dome lighting. It is also wired and has a cb radio (antenna is not on currently but works and is in tune when you want to put it on). The only thing I don"t have is the roof rack, I keep this in the garage and it wouldn"t fit with the lift so I ended up selling it and no longer have it. Tires are Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (amazing tires) in tire size 315/75R16 - still in very good condition purchased last year (I can pull up receipt to make sure) from Discount Tire, all 5 tires also have a warranty through them which IS TRANSFERABLE. I also have what I believe are 1.25" Spitertrax wheel spacers. I love them, gives it a great stance and even improved the ride more. It does also have the upgraded JBL sound system w/sub and the 6disc changer. Bluetooth phone/media connection which is awesome to have. Rear back up camera (located in rearview mirror)
Truck also has remote start with 2 fobs on both sets of keys.
Mechanically everything is stock except a TRD Cold Air Intake was installed. A new battery was installed this year. Oil always changed every 10K (dealer recommended) as it runs 0-20 synthetic which is what it was always fed, Toyota brand. Brakes and rotors were recently done in the rear and Front brakes and pads are freshly done along with oil change.
I never beat on this truck with going mudding or off road but this thing will drive though anything. To experience this truck in the snow is unreal. You put this in 4WD and its unstoppable. I do periodically use and check the A-trac and Rear Diff Lock and they all engage, work and disengage properly.
Basically if this is what you"re looking for and this is the color you want, this is the truck. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
