Due to necessity during these times, I am selling my sturdy, stable, trusty and super fun 2011 Suzuki Burgman 400 Antilock Breaking System 2-person-seating-with-LOTS-of-under-the seat-storage-space, "scooter". Scooter is sold as-is and buyer must schedule/pay shipping. I have been the SINGLE OWNER of this scooter. It was my first and only bike and I took very good care of it, performing ALL OIL CHANGES regularly and maintaining the battery and keeping it clean. I bought it BRAND NEW from a reputable Colorado Motorcycle dealership for $7954 (total I paid) with 0 miles. It now has 11,609 miles. The MOTOR is in PERFECT CONDITION and has never had any mechanical issues. New tires put on a couple years ago by professional local scooter shop. The ONLY issue was a bolt came loose after they replaced the tires and I had to take it in. Since then, I have ridden it many times over the last couple of years and have not had ANY ISSUE. However, you may want to take to local mechanic just to do a thorough checkup before you begin riding. But again, I just took it for a wash today with NO ISSUES.The EXTERIOR has some rough spots (ALL known damage/wear are shown in pictures):1. The seat cover could be replaced or at least repaired. I used to have a garage but for the last couple of years I had to park it outside so the wear on the seat cover is just due to cold/hot/ice weather in Colorado.2. The glove box handle is broke. Some idiot tried to break into it years ago, but FAILED, because the scooter is actually hard to break into and has several safety features to prevent theft. The scooter has NEVER been stolen in all the years I have owned it, and again, I have been the SOLE OWNER of this scooter.3. As you can see, the left handle bar is missing just the end piece. Seems this gets loose after riding a long time and the right one is loose also but still attached.4. Lastly, on the left front side there was a really small crack (i was doing a turn in the driveway and hit the wooden fence by accident but I was going REALLY slow so it was a small crack (nothing broke off) so I just used industrial glue (to seal the crack) and painted over it). It's not even noticeable in the pictures or in person unless you're really looking for it. That is ALL the cosmetic damage I know of. And beyond that, there is NO DAMAGE to any of the scooter's primary components (motor, electrical, etc.). PLEASE note that I just WASHED the scooter so in the pics what you see on the mirrors are drops of water, there are NO SCRATCHES on the mirror or the dash.Scooter has a NEW BATTERY and relatively new tires.Also, ORIGINAL maintenance/emergency tools included. Could use oil change as I changed it last year but I have not ridden it much since. I have really loved this scooter and am sorry to see it go. It has provided me with very stable and comfortable trips locally and a few longer distance in-state trips. This baby seats a passenger very comfortably and by my own calculations get about 70 (SEVENTY) MILES PER GALLON! In the summertime I have nearly forgotten to fill it sometimes as I can easily ride it for a week or two before needing to fill up again. The acceleration is amazing and you will have NO PROBLEM on the highway; getting to and maintaining ANY legal speed for any duration of time. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND.
