Lotus Evora 2011 , W/ Sport Exhaust. New clutch installed, only 500 miles on it. Was 7k.
Ok, so what happened is I had run over a curb while driving. It cracked both wheels and def bent one of the control arms on the rear driver side as the wheel sorta sits in a bit. Thats what happened. The Airbags clearly went off and that cracked the windshield. The driver side airbag will do that when activated.
Interior of the car is fine, the clutch only has about 500 miles on it.
It will drive but not very far because the rear suspension is bent somehow. If you gun it, it feels like the power isn"t going to the bent wheel. I"m assuming one of the control arms is really bent or broken.
I threw the 2 wheels on the left side away because they were broken, I ordered 2 new ones and they are on it now. The rear passenger wheel was also replaced because the tire shop recommended it, I couldn"t tell but just ordered another one. Its the same size as the other rear wheel just a diff pattern.
What else I noticed is the power steering lines may need to be replaced because I noticed it felt like it wasn"t working the whole time. The heat shield on the bottom is gone, it got peeled back. Its just the aluminium under carriage cover.
BOTH lights work fine, the drivers will need to be put back in, and maybe a clip added. But works fine.
I was going to fix it but just don"t have the time anymore, in NYC mainly now. The car is in Spring, TX at my brothers house.
The accident happened in 2017, its public record because I got arrested for a DUI the day before the Super Bowl in Houston that year. Before that the car ran perfect. And I did not have insurance on the car, otherwise I would"ve just had them fix it.
I barely drove it, I bought it used from Mercedes Benz of FT Lauderdale and had it shipped to me. It was just an extra extra car, and well didn"t plan on doing this to it.
I"ll be in town for thanksgiving if need anymore pictures or videos of the car. Can ship it or pick up is fine as well.
The only real body work needed would be the front bumper, could probably live with it, its not terrible. one small piece is missing on he driver side. Everything else is intact, the plastic on the door was just to cover the window because the battery had died sitting for the past 2 years.
