Vehicle description
2011 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4, 3.5L Ecoboost Twin Turbo
I purchased this at an auction sight unseen, auction advertised as runs and drives. I paid a shipping company to pick it up, when they did he informed me that it did not run or drive but he was almost able to get it to jump start and turn over. I had him ship it to a near by mechanic instead of our farm. It was purchased with the intent to use at our out of state farm. The mechanic seemed to think it could be timing (He did not spend much time on it). He was pushing "just do a motor swap." I do not have time to mess with it as I needed a working truck quick for out farm, and thought I would sell as is. Passenger rear tire is flat, did hold air but has been sitting. and engine needs some sort of repairs.
Bottom line is I have not seen the truck in person, I had a tow company employee send me pictures. I was told there is some surface rust, seen in the pics, and a bad spot on the corner of the cab in between the cab in truck bed. The truck is 600 miles from where I live, so I have not seen it and unfortunately only have what the one mechanic and driver has told me.
Other then one tire and mechanical work to engine, everything else seems to be great with the vehicle. I believe the estimated value in perfect running order is $18k+ (4 Wheel Drive Truck market is crazy right now). Starting the bidding at $10k.Like I said, the motor needs work is the reason for the low price. I do have a very reasonable transporter that can ship quick and affordable. I can help put you in touch after the auction.
Feel free to message me and I can reach out to you by phone or text.
