Up for sale is our 2011 Audi Q5 Premium Plus 2.0T. I purchased this car back in November 2018 as a surprise Christmas Present for my wife. I had Audi inspect the vehicle after delivery. Audi repaired 5 recalls including the takata airbag, faulty fuel pump, and stretched timing chain at no charge. I also Purchased a second key from Audi at my expense ($450). After driving the car post Christmas the oil light came on, returned to Audi and they performed an oil consumption test including replacing the pcv valve ($980). after 500 miles the oil light turned on again. The car was included in the oil consumption recall but was not fixed. the recall worked up to 80k miles and I purchased the car at 84k. estimated cost to replace pistons and rings ($6800). Being a home mechanic and having rebuilt several engines. I rebuilt the engine my self. new pistons, ring, full aluminum water pump, aluminum rear main seal. coolant flush, power steering fluid flush, every gasket o-ring and seal replaced. oil pump cleaned and inspected, all timing chains and guides replaced. the head was carbon cleaned. new spark plugs and coils. new front oxygen sensor. cam angle and crank angle sensor. new engine mounts. every torqued bolt replaced. new balance shaft to water pump pulley seal replaced. new water pump belt, fumoto oil drain plug. I also upgraded the brakes, front drilled and slotted ecs tuning rotors with hawk hps pads and stainless steel brake lines front and rear. replaced 1 cracked fog light and burned out bulbs in the rear lower tail lights. on the interior did a foam cleaning on the a/c system, replaced the front middle air duct vent ($275 by itself) reprogrammed the DVD to play while driving.
I have driven the car 4,500 since the rebuild without burning any oil. engine and trans are fantastic. total spent repairing this vehicle is near $5,000 plus what I had purchased it for. my loss is your gain.
before we decided to just sell it. it needs tires relatively soon, you could see 10k miles plus but no guarantees. the front axle boots are torn. I will include replacement boots to whom ever purchases.
at and additional charge I have the Ross-tech vag-com cable and software already vin tied to this car with an additional 2 open slots available. also have 8 genuine Audi oil filters for sale it you want to change your own oil.
this is a very comfortable car fun to drive tons of options and amenities. all the options work perfect.
