Vehicle description
Satin White Pearl 2010 Subaru Forester 2.5X Premium with Platinum (gray) interior.
No accidents.
Never had any mechanical issues, hasn"t needed any major repairs; very dependable.
Very clean interior and exterior.
Very good tires. Shocks/struts (and tires) all replaced at 102k. Rear brakes done at 96k. Full 95k service done, tune up, etc.
Takata airbag replacement recall has been completed. Regular oil changes.
"Premium" level trim: includes
massive sunroof,
17" silver alloy wheels,
in-dash CD + navigation,
roof rack rails,
driver"s side power seat with lumbar support,
4-spd auto w/OD transmission,
170hp. Additional valuable items: Aftermarket tow hitch installed late summer 2019 (lifetime UHaul warranty); Installed, aftermarket collision avoidance system (behind-the-grill mounted radar unit) and lane departure warning system (windshield mounted camera system) by Safe Drive Systems (Premier-level model), which cost $1800. This is similar to EyeSight system on newest Subarus and warns you visually and audibly of hazards in front of you or lane drifting.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave it their highest rating, “Top Safety Pick”.
You can research the collision warning/lane change system from Safe Driving Systems, model SDS RD-140 here: https:/ youtu.be/Rlnm9McJf1c
A big positive feature of Foresters of this vintage is amazing visibility for the driver.
Purchased used from CarMax in 2015 for $19k (we’re second owner; prior owner was an individual, not fleet) and although we don’t want to part with it, we bought a new Subaru and need to make garage room by selling this one.
