2010 Honda Civic LX - Local CT Pickup Up for auction is my son"s 2010 Honda Civic which I bought for him to commute to work and college 2 years ago. Car is in very good mechanical condition and still looks quite good - although is showing some signs of age - most notably some rust along the doors, wheel wells, and under-body from its living through our New England winters. Please see photos for condition. Important Note: Car must be picked up in Tolland CT before Sept 13th. I will be traveling over the next week. Pickup in Tolland is about halfway between Hartford CT and Sturbridge MA. You will need to have the car insured and provide your own plates. Current registration on the car expires 9/3. Any special circumstances please contact me I always try to accommodate reasonable requests. In light of current health concerns we"ll keep the transaction efficient and respect social distancing guidelines. Car has ~154k miles and has been well maintained. We purchased it at ~129k miles and had it checked out by our mechanic who reported it a solid car that should provide years of use if properly maintained. That has proven to be true. In the last 2 years we"ve done brakes, a muffler replacement, a battery replacement, and this summer the AC died and we had the compressor replaced so it"s working fine again. Aside from that regular oil changes and no issues. My son drove the car to California and back last summer. Selling now because he"s gone away to school and we no longer need the car. I had the car detailed last week so it"s clean and smoke-free. The center console compartment lid is broken off which is how it was when we got the car. That"s about it. Nice and clean for its age as you can see in the photos. I took it for a test drive this morning and found that it drove nicely. Around town local driving its great and it does well on the highway although I did notice a slight drift to the right when I let go of the wheel. Could probably use a wheel alignment. The roof racks were added so my son could tote a kayak around and there is a mark on the roof where the kayak rode. At 65-70 mph the roof rack makes a fair amount of noise so if you do a lot of highway driving you might want to remove the roof racks. Keys to the roof rack included. The car comes with the two original keys that work fine in the lock but the electronic lock/unlock "key fobs" built in are not working. May just need batteries.
