Up for auction is a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria "Police" vehicle. This vehicle was purchased new by the Village of Clarendon Hills and assigned to the Clarendon Hills FIRE Department for use as an administrative vehicle. It was in service for 11 years once purchased and recently retired. The current mileage is approximately 78,079 as seen in the photo. Mechanically, the vehicle runs and drives as it should. Overall, the vehicle is in very good condition. There are some dents on the trunk lid as seen in the photos. There are many antennas still mounted to the vehicle and there are some drill holes on the exterior mirror housings from where emergency lights were mounted. The black interior is in very good condition over all, however the rear seat cushion is stained and could use a good cleaning. Several pieces of emergency equipment hardware are still mounted in/on the vehicle as seen in the photos and we will not be removing them. There is also an exterior electric plug mounted on the driver side rear quarter panel as seen in the photo. The plug was for an onboard battery charger that has been removed. Known issues with the vehicle are as follows: one of the floor bolts for the front driver seat is broken/missing, the driver seatback power tilt function is not working, the fuel gauge is not functioning properly and should not be trusted, the trunk release button on the dashboard is not functioning, however key access works. A brand NEW car battery was installed just prior to this listing.
